All classes/sessions are mandatory. The program is intensive – Adhiroha highly recommends regular practice 3 to 4 times per week up to 2 to 3 months prior to course commencement.

At Adhiroha, the yoga teacher training program is a well-thought, experience-based framework. Wherein, every session is planned around a particular time for a reason. As you progress every week, you will explore the bigger picture of the training.

Therefore, your undivided attention and desire to learn during the training period is required. In yoga, competition is not with anyone but yourself. Listen to your body/mind, understand your limits, and try to progress day after day.

Basic knowledge of English is enough to understand and participate in the training. Your teachers will assist you during the extra time if required, so that you may better understand the sessions. When necessary, Adhiroha will also provide language translators, upon request for an additional fee. Options include Japanese, Spanish, French, Russian, Korean, Chinese, and German.

Evaluation and certification

Assessments for certification will be based on practical, homework assignment evaluation, as well as a minimum of 90% attendance. There are different set-standards of measurements put in place to assess the abilities of the student’s progress, including ethical yogic behavior. Students need to follow the general guidelines of the program and the basic rules of the ashram.

Students who successfully complete this 50-hour YTT residential program will be awarded the Adhiroha certificate. Students of 50 Hour YTT, will join for a week in the running batch of 200 Hour RYTT.

Jagjeet Singh

Adhiroha is a place to relax, rejuvenate and re-balance. It is an amalgamation of a serene spiritual yoga ashram environment with a professional training institutional approach.

They strive to keep the energy of the ashram pure and untainted so that the training in yoga practice brings about spiritual transformation. Therefore, try to come with an open mind, soft heart and a strong spine.

Their yoga shala, meditation cave, lecture area, dining space, and surroundings are very unique and exquisitely built. Visiting and staying at the ashram will be a life-changing experience for nature lovers and serious yoga practitioners. The impression of living in Adhiroha will be enduring for the rest of your life.

The school is located in Rishikesh, which is the yoga capital of the world. All facilities like public and private transport, shopping, local market, cafes, restaurants, ATMs, organic stores, scenic tourist spots, medical and hospitals are available in close vicinity.

Adhiroha strictly follows a vegetarian diet. Food will be provided thrice a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) with special Adhiroha herbal tea.

The food provided at the ashram is delicious Ayurvedic meals. However, they do try their best to arrange alternative food requirements such as lactose intolerant or gluten intolerant.

The food you consume is very significant in yoga practice. Therefore, Adhiroha makes a conscious effort in choosing ingredients such as fruits and vegetables as organic as possible.

It is also important how it is prepared. The mind of the chef in the preparation of the food has an impact on the quality of food. Even the process of food consumption has an immense impact on yoga practice. Considering all the aspects, Adhiroha has been making conscious efforts in offering food as a sacred process of enhancing yoga practice.
