Serenity Yoga Home is just a two-minute walk from the boatyard at Phewa Lake. They offer a rooftop yoga and meditation space with views of the Annapurna Mountain Range. All its air-conditioned rooms come with free Wi-Fi. The on-site restaurant serves Indian dishes. All rooms come with satellite TV channels. Some rooms have a flat-screen TV. Private bathrooms are equipped with either a bathtub or shower.
Hotel Asia is an eight-minute drive from the Tourist Bus Station and a 15 minutes drive from Pokhara Airport (PKR). Parking is free. Guests can arrange day trips at the tour desk or make use of the meeting rooms. The hotel also provides room service.

Tracing its origins to the traditional Nath tradition and Patanjali in the second century BCE, the name Hatha signifies the union of the solar and lunar channels in the body. This is achieved through an emphasis on mindfully cultivating stability and comfort in the postures on the mat while synchronizing the breath with movements.
As humans, you are expressions of the universal pranic energy or the prana (life force). However, improper lifestyles and unconscious untrained ways of breathing processes hamper your life force and unbalance your body and mind increasing stress, anxiety, and fears in your minds. In the course, you will learn how to breathe properly and to guide and expand prana or life-force in the right way to connect to your higher self.
Meditation introduces the practitioner to deeper levels of his or her being and brings calmness to body, mind, and energy. It improves one’s concentration and inculcates stillness within one's being through moving one's attention from the outer world to the inner world. It’s the sixth limb of the eight steps given by the ancient sage Patanjali.
Kriya literally means activities to purify the nine gates of consciousness as it is clearly explained in Hatha yoga that you won’t get any benefits from asana and pranayama without adapting deep physical cleansing in your lifestyle. Kriyas purify your stored old negative patterns that you have been storing in your body like the excellent way of cleansing your nasal passages by activities like "jala neti".
Bandhas or locks play an important role in yoga practice by guiding the flow of energy towards the inner channels (nadies) in the body during asana and pranayama practice.
Yoga Nidra literally means psychic sleep or yogic sleep. It’s the practice of pratyahara where you withdraw your senses towards yourself while keeping awareness of your body, mind, and sensory organs. Where nowadays you would not have proper sleep because of your stressful thoughts and are unable to relax even during the sleep; here, they emphasize relaxing your entire body and mind, and energy by connecting to your own stillness inside.
In Bhakti yoga, you draw heavily on cultivating and expressing love and devotion for deities in the Hindu pantheon. The ecstatic experience of singing, chanting, and Satsang cultivates an atmosphere for emotional expression and healing while at the same time giving the practitioner an opportunity to set the stage for experiencing the divine within the self.
While not denying the existence of facts which are difficult to explain through science and gently yet in no uncertain terms telling the superstitious different from the existence of a higher being in the clouds the Raja yoga philosophy declares that each man is a conduit of an infinite ocean of knowledge and power and just as the desires and wants are in man so are the infinite magazine of supply from whence they are made manifest.
Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic, flowing method of yoga that connects the movement of the body with breath, gaze, energy locks, and postures. The method stresses the importance of the daily practice of a set series of movements. The students will be focusing on the first series while gaining the tools to establish a daily practice to progress through the six series at their own pace in their lifelong pursuit of self-actualization.
Mantra literally means a force that sets your mind free. When practiced correctly, it helps to neutralize internal agitations and inertia allowing one to move into a more pure state of consciousness. By practicing Mantra yoga, you calm the mind and bring focus and clarity, enhancing the physical aspects of yoga, bringing focus and clarity, and improving overall health and mental stability.
Adishakti Yogashala bases their class on how to protect your joints and muscles during the sometimes tough practice of asana. Learning to perform the asana correctly and align the body according to one’s flexibility with the help of expert guidance and props one slowly but surely goes deeper without the risk of an injury. You focus on dangers encountered on the mat and how to avoid injuries, difficult poses are given their due respect and attention and are handled gently while not overlooking the broadening of one’s horizons on the mat.
Anatomy in a western context is about physicality. But according to yoga, anatomy also includes energy and subtle body systems as the students delve into the five vital energies, the seven tissues, three fundamental qualities (gunas), and subtle channels (Nadies); they gain an understanding of a deeper level of their existence that grounds theirs.
Chair Yoga is a simple method of yoga that requires a chair to practice all the series of asana and pranayama. It is suitable for those people who spend a lot of time in a chair. This method of yoga tries to synchronize the movement with breath awareness and emphasizes flexibility of spring and opening of the heart while regulating the breathing properly. it is suitable for those who are old, office goers, and disabled people.
On Sundays and Wednesdays, there will be Karma yoga, countryside visit, or ashram visit.

Manoranjan Chand is a yoga teacher dedicated to share his knowledge of Patanjali yoga to the world. He was born in Orissa and had a strong desire towards knowing the answers to life and higher consciousness from his childhood. His small village had fewer opportunities, so under most unusual circumstances of a devastating cyclone in 1999 in Orissa, when he was 16 years old, Manoranjan left his home in search of answers that overwhelmed him. This marked the beginning of his yogic journey.

You will be served three meals daily. Adishakti Yogashala provides only yogic meals during the course period.
