Akasha Yoga School is located in an area where nature and the sea complement each other. You can enjoy the most beautiful sunrises and majestic sunsets. The villa has 6 rooms, study and relaxation areas, a swimming pool, a fire place, gardens overlooking the sea, an outdoor shala (space to practice) and a private lounge.
Akasha Yoga School will try its best to provide you with good and clean rooms. All rooms have AC upon request for an extra cost. However, if you have any reservations about your living space, then Akasha Yoga School suggests you arrange your own stay outside at your own expense. They can contact you with locations nearby that have rooms available.
Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

The training lasts for 23 days in total. The first day of the course is dedicated to arriving at Barranquilla, Colombia followed by the opening ceremony with dinner in the evening. The last day of the course is dedicated to departing Barranquilla with the graduation ceremony being held the day before.
You will be waking up early every morning to feel the serenity of nature surrounding you. This will ease your mind for early morning meditation and help you get grounded before the busy day ahead. During the day, you will have two breaks between the classes so you can unwind and relax on the beach, rent a bicycle and discover the surroundings, have a quick nap, or go to a cafe.
Each week you will have a day off (3 in total) to enjoy the surroundings and recharge your energy.
Lila will lead the training during March, and November dates.
Elo will lead the training during May, and July 8 dates. Lila will remain the Anatomy teacher during the course.
Pablo is a yoga teacher (RYT 200 by Yoga Alliance), certified facilitator of yoga Nidra, and Master Reiki. Pablo has spent many years living in China and has traveled extensively in Latin America, Europe, and Southeast Asia, integrating different cultures and philosophies related to yoga, meditation, and philosophy of India. His passion for philosophy has led him to teach workshops in different places in Asia and Europe.
E-RYT 200 and RYT 500 Yoga Alliance registered yoga instructor. Lila is also a holistic therapist, Reiki master, nutritionist, speaker, writer, and energetic coach. Lila began her journey through the yoga practice in Colombia where she performed a 2, 200 hours yoga certificación course in Vinyasa yoga. Her third master's degree was in Thailand, with teachers disciples of Osho, B.K.S Iyengar and Pattabhi Jois. Lila has held courses, certifications, and workshops in Colombia, Thailand, Estonia, and Spain.
Caro is a Physiotherapist with more than 6 years of experience in Manual Therapy, Therapeutic Yoga instructor and Thai Massage Specialist. She is passionate about physical rehabilitation and integration of the movement in the human body. Her goal is to share tools of inner transformation through Physiotherapy and Yoga, fusing the scientific with the philosophical, with the intention of achieving changes on a physical, mental and emotional level.
Sara is an experience designer specialized in creative interventions, a student of the different yoga systems since 2006, a Yoga practitioner since she was a child, dedicated to yoga after her first trip to India in 2015. Since 2017 she's been training in Iyengar yoga with Chantal Gómez Mexico, Marla Apt United States and José Maria Vigar Spain. In 2018 she returned to India to the Iyengar Yoga Institute to participate in the yoga congress in the city of Pune with the teachers Geeta Iyengar, Prashant Iyengar, Abhijata Iyengar and Raya Uma Data.
She arrived to Colombia from Thailand, where she discovered yoga via a teacher from Rishikesh. She started teaching in 2015 and kept on learning more ever since. She studied in Rishikesh for her first 2 trainings and completed about 8 more around the globe. Her main physical practice remains vinyasa-based, but she thrives on anything from Yin to Rocket Yoga and musical flow. Her goal is always to use this wonderful tool called yoga to help her shape her life off the mat the way she wants and embrace the feels as best she can.

The retreat will take place at a beautiful villa located in Pradomar, just 15 minutes from Barranquilla. This idyllic villa, facing the Caribbean Sea, provides the perfect setting for relaxation and reflection during your program.
All the food is vegetarian, varied and balanced, in order to meet the nutritional requirements you need for your daily practice. Food is mostly cooked from organically grown ingredients.
The food provided will be vegetarian (not vegan). It is not possible to cater to meet everyone's needs. So, if you are allergic to something or have special preferences or requirements, there are some restaurants nearby from where you can order. These expenses are not included in the course fee.
