Homework, written essays, quizzes and a final practical and written exam must be completed prior to certification.

Upon graduation students will be given a Yoga Alliance accredited diploma from Its Yoga stating that they have completed our requirements and are now certified yoga teachers.

Most important, the Its Yoga teacher training system is designed to help you find your own unique yoga voice and help you to learn to teach from it. After we have taught students the basics and helped students to find their own yoga voice, the last part of the program will offer practical experience training students to lead yoga groups. You will leave our program a yoga teacher, ready and certified by Its Yoga to teach Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga.

Pre study, Ashtanga out of the box.

This compilation of materials shares the ancient practice of Ashtanga in terms that every yoga enthusiast can learn from, both the basic beginner to the most advanced practitioner.

The Ashtanga yoga manual

The first written material on the once oral tradition of Ashtanga, written by Larry Schultz. The manual includes detailed information on some of the most fundamental parts of the practice: breath, dristi and bandhas and much more. Also sharing the Full Primary Series with modifications and illustrations, it serves as a classic tool to take your practice anywhere.

All Yoga teacher training workbook

With six lessons that coincide with the Ashtanga Manual, these exercises assist practitioners in deepening their understanding in a practical way by allowing students to explore the lessons in their own time and space.

We also bring you the Chant CD and Booklet, which work together sharing pronunciation of the Sanskrit names of the poses and follow along chants. Reema Datta, a Sanskrit scholar shares her deep knowledge of this ancient language of yoga.

Lastly, a DVD of the Primary Series taught by Larry Schultz allows students to bring it all together.

On the bay, there are several restaurants offering delicious foods. We can find a large selection of Thai, international, vegetarian and raw food.

We also practice right above the ocean on an amazing open yoga plateform with fantastic view.

Arrival by airplane

There is no direct plane landing on Koh Phangan. The easiest way to get from Bangkok to Koh Phangan is to fly from Bangkok to the neighboring island called Koh Samui. Bangkok Airways and Thai Airways are the only airlines that currently operate on this route.

Arrival by boat

Haad Rin Queen Ferry (Big Buddha Pier-Samui)

  • From Koh Samui airport, youll need to take a taxi to the Big Buddha Pier. The ferry ride is approximately 45 minutes.
  • Ferry departures schedule (Big Buddha Pier to Haad Rin Pier): 10:30 am, 1:00 pm, 4:00 pm, and 6:30 pm. For more information, go to the Haad Rin Queen Ferry website.
  • Once you arrive in Haad Rin, you may take either a taxi boat (10 minutes) or by truck (45 minutes) to Haad Tien Bay. Depending on the weather, the taxi boats may not operate due to large waves. In that case, your only option is by truck.
  • Price varies depending on the number of passengers. You can try your best to bargain. Generally, it should cost max 500 BHT if youre traveling with other passengers. If by chance, youre the only one, it may cost you as much as 3000++ BHT for a single trip.

Tong Nai Pan Ferry

  • Depending on the weather, Tong Nai Pan Ferry serves a direct route from Koh Samui to Haad Tien where we are located.
  • The ferry runs once a day at 12:00 pm from Mae Nam Pier (Koh Samui) to Thong Nai Pan (Koh Phangan). Haad Tien Bay is one of the stops on the way.
  • The price from Koh Samui to Haad Tien is 350 BHT.

Arrival by train

  • To travel from Bangkok to Koh Phangan by either train or bus takes about 2 days based on connection and travel time.
  • This is a much cheaper alternate from flying. However, the journey can be quite rough and long. We only recommend traveling this way if youre on a tight budget or really up for an adventure! Simply take a train from Bangkok to Surat Thani.
  • On arrival at Surat Thani railway station, shuttle bus meets the train and takes you to the Don Sak ferry terminal. The bus is included if youve purchased the train + ferry fare.
  • Ferries run every hour from Don Sak to Koh Samui, crossing time is 1.5 hours. Some ferries continue to Koh Phangan. You can buy the combined train + ferry tickets at Bangkok Hualamphong station reservations office, or online for a small handling fee.
For information about the booking conditions, please send All Yoga Thailand an inquiry.

The teachers are not only knowledgeable, but also easy to approach and are always offering to help you with your personal development. "Great experience and what an amazing place to hold the course. My transformation was learning about myself, discipline and appreciating my life back home more. Most challenging for me was the weather and keeping up and not giving up until the end of the course. The teachers were great and always focused on everyone being equal- all sharing and learning from one another. Annie and David are amazing!"

"The training is extremely well balanced with physical, spiritual and philosophical forms of yoga teacher training. There is a big focus on self-practice that helps you learn..about your body and the teacher within you. This TT has given me a more open-minded and humble approach to teaching others. My most challenging experience was to let go of my ego and competitive nature and truly focus on myself."

"It was a life changing experience. The training was personally one of the best things that happened to me. The teachers are truly inspirational and they helped me so much during this course. I will keep their voices with me and take it everywhere I go. Not just about lessons and yoga, but also how you should present yourself as a teacher. They will always be my gurus. My transformation was to really understand what yoga is all about. I feel excited but very humble and grateful to be able to complete this course. Namaste."

"Wow. What an amazing life altering experience! I came to be a better teacher for my students but did not expect to become a better person. I feel more grounded, calmer, move in touch with myself than I ever have.Even though I found the meditation very challenging, the practices allowed me to focus my mind and strip away all the junk. Just me, my breath, and mat. Lovely. That connection will allow me eventually to find my connection with meditation. I am not there yet, but see it on the horizon! Thank you, my teachers, for sharing your knowledge and wisdom. It will have long-lasting effects in my life."

"The quality of the teachings and knowledge of the teachers were what impressed me the most. From day one, I witnessed many physical transformations but the most importantly are the ones you witness on the inside. These transformations are hard to come by. The most challenging aspect of the training was not the self practice, the asana studyThe most challenging aspect is to say goodbye to such a wonderful group of people."

"This is the training that I wanted as I felt I needed a challenge. This course is challenging! The location, accommodation, and the yoga shala are all amazing and give you the jungle experience. I transformed physically and mentally with such a strong daily routine that demands your attention. Seeing the yoga teacher appears in me and my classmates are so rewarding after all the effort. The theory part challenged me the most! But as the saying go, 99 percents practice and one percent theory."

"My time spent with All Yoga Thailand for their Yoga Teacher Training was nothing short of exceptional. There is no comparison for the elated, clear sense of mind that I am leaving with versus the state in which I arrived. Physically and mentally I was challenged beyond where I could have imagined. As a result this is the strongest Ive been in a long time. Learning from David, Marcela and Vari has been inspirational. As the course has come to an end, I am excited and motivated to keep moving forward knowing that with my practice all is coming."

" Annie made my teacher training! Her Yin classes bought so much awareness and presence. Her teaching style really embraced her gentle & caring nature. Yet her Vinyasa classes were one of the most challenging I had done ! With so much fire and energy. She is a true example of yin and yang, of balance which I really respect in a teacher. Cant wait to be a student again in her presence ! Thank you Annie for a wonderful experience. "

" Annie is such an inspiring, and knowledgeable teacher. I am honored to have learned from someone who is so passionate about what they teach. " Annie was for me the perfect guide during the yoga retreat. Her amazing balance in Yin and Yang, in her teachings on and off the mat combined with her warm and down to earth personality showed me what it really is about as a yoga teacher, being vulnerable in sharing your experience, your passion, teaching from the heart but with a strong and steady theoretical foundation. "

"Jannica has an awesome Ashtanga based practice that she's happy to share with others. She is an engaging teacher who creates dynamic flow sequences that cater to all levels. She offers lots of modifications in her classes, so every level of practioner feels at home. She is patient and gives directions clearly. You may not be able to a handstand or do an arm balance, but take a class with Jannica and she will inspire you to try!"

"All Yoga Thailand provide an excellent and complete Yoga Teacher Training. I would highly recommand this course to other people waiting to get their 200hrs certification. Not only practicing Ashtanga Vyniasa yoga with excellent yoga instructors, we learnt about anatomy, philosophy and other useful topics. The location (Koh Samui, Vikasa hotel) was also great."

  • Review by Elena from Russia

"I know it says training but I didnt feel like it was but more like a new discovery every day. I never felt stressed or under pressure despite the amount of information was given to us. Every class we had-practicing, yoga philosophy, anatomy, yoga sutras- was so interesting, captivated and so well-organized that I just wanted to learn more. My favorite part of this course was my teachers! I feel so lucky to have chosen this TT. Each one of the teachers were already a great teacher, person & yogi but together they built an amazing team! Absolutely! Thank you for the hard work. Our yoga philosophy Ram brought the experience to a even higher more spiritual level. Thank you for keeping quizzes and homework light and manageable. It was a perfect balance between studying and having some time to absorb all the material. I love how All Yoga included different styles of yoga in addition to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Finally I absolutely loved the workshops! Inversions, pre/post natal, backbends..etc It was my favorite thing. It was so much fun and informative! Most importantly for me, I left this training feeling ready to teach on my own and able to have my own self-practice. All Yoga teaching team, you made it possible! I feel very confident and happy! Thank you!"
