After completion of the course you will receive a teaching certificate (RYT 200) recognized internationally. In our school we have senior teachers of India to teach all aspects of Yoga. During the training we will focus on alignment, therapy, pranayama, meditation, Bandhas, cleansing techniques, kriyas, (integrative Yoga) proper use of props in Iyengar Yoga, Satyananda Yoga (Yoga Nidra), qualities of a Teacher and different aspects of teaching Yoga. We will also touch on traditional as well as current trends in yoga teaching techniques.
Our accommodation at the resort, it has a fuss free, quaint and serene atmosphere. Each day began with us waking up to the beautiful sunrise, the soothing sound of the wind and the rejuvenating cool breeze.
07:00 - 8:00 pranayama, mantra chanting and meditation (breathing techniques, guided meditation
08:30 - 10:30 hatha yoga class iyengar style – alignment based: (everyday asana practice from a range of poses; standing postures, forward bending, back bending, inversions, twisting)
10:30 - 11:00 breakfast (Traditional Indian or your choose of vegetarian breakfast)
11:00 - 12:00 Lecture philosophy or anatomy (Lectures on Indian mythology, chakra healing, and mantra healing)
12:00 - 15:00 Lunch and rest; Free time for lunch, rest and study
15:00 - 16:15 Lecture Anatomy or philosophy; (detailed talks on yoga Anatomy and physiology)
16:30 - 18:00 Hatha yoga class iyengar style (yoga practice intensive class covering a range of asanas pranayama theory, yoga nidras, yoga sutras, talks on various yoga topics, question and answer time, exams)
18:30 - 20:00 occasional evening breathing meditation sessions take place through the training
20:00 - 22:00 Dinner and free time
Detailed instructions in classes will allow you to develop a strong foundation for practice. Alpesh teaches Hatha yoga in the tradition of Iyengar which focuses on aligning the body to allow the breath and energy to flow optimally throughout the body. Within one or two weeks you will gain enough experience to take home your own self practice or prepare yourself for teacher training.
The Iyengar style is an ideal practice for those with physical health issues or old injuries. The focus on alignment in the body allows each individual to work within their own limits safely while still building strength and flexibility in the body. In Alpeshs intensive course, you will receive personal attention in class, assistance in using props, and can work at your own pace to develop practice that is tailored to your needs. Alpesh has many years of experience using yoga to both heal himself and help others.
For those who have experience in any style of yoga and experienced practitioners, this course will help deepen your own practice with the benefit of Alpeshs knowledge of and focus on alignment. You will also learn variation of poses to accommodate various physical limitations based on the bodys needs, gaining experience in using modifications for both yourself and while teaching.

Three vegetarian meals shall be provided within campus from Monday to Friday and Saturday breakfast is included in the price.

The nearest airport is at Gaggal, about 13 kilometres away from Dharamshala. Gaggal airport connects Dharamshala to Delhi via Air India and Spice Jet flights. Tourists from other parts of India would find it easier to take a flight till Chandigarh and book a taxi for their onward journey to Dharamshala, which is about 275 kilometres away.
