The Yogarden comprises a traditional, 80-year-old, teak house set within a large relaxing garden. The yoga shala is a covered open-air platform within the garden setting.

You are also invited to enjoy the creative elements in the art studio, dedicated kids room, and therapy room, or treat yourself to a healthy bite in the indoor / outdoor caf. Come and share the magical corner of Fishermans Village. Various accommodation are available, single or double, to suit every budget.

Spend a month transforming yourself on the beautiful island of Koh Samui -Thailand, at The Yoga Garden, offering an internationally recognized Yoga Alliance Certification RYT200 in traditional Tantra Hatha yoga and Vinyasa yoga. The foundation teacher training course will enable the student to learn the art of becoming a confident teacher, whilst deepening their own personal practice and wisdom. Yoga is a path of self-love and self-mastery, as they say happiness comes from within.

Course outline - what students will learn

Asana practice

Developing your own practice while learning to teach key Asana postures standing poses, forward bends, backbends, twists and inversion, pranayamas, bhandas, kriyas, chanting mantras, mudras, and various forms of meditations.

Art of teaching

Positive communication skills, time management, respectful boundaries, specific and special needs, alignments and adjustments, demonstrating teaching styles, qualities of a teacher, business aspects, creating a sequence of asanas for a Vinyasa class.

Anatomy and physiology

Yoga as a therapy basic study in asana practice, benefits and contraindications of asanas, special needs and injuries, Chakras and Nadis energy, intro to Ayurveda.

Yoga Philosophy

In depth study of the 8 limbs of yoga, integrating this as a yogic lifestyle, Patanjali sutras, Hatha yoga Pradipika, Tantra philosophy, history of yoga.

Practice teaching yoga

Practice teaching yoga confidently to groups, ultimately changing your own life forever.

    With a deep knowledge and practice of Tantra yoga, Shamanism, and Reiki, she blends her crazy wisdom with much humor, as she enjoys assisting her students to free themselves from their limited belief systems, encouraging them to live their truth of soul-consciousness-bliss, teaching them to expand their conscious awareness of themselves and the world we live in.Her free spirit has pushed her own egos limits on her own path of healing. Healing many of her students and inspiring them to live a life of authentic bliss.

    Anu Singhs objectives are to inspire students, through the practice of yoga, to connect with their personal wisdom, and healing abilities while achieving personal growth. With masters in yoga philosophy from Sophia College, Mumbai, Anu has been studying and teaching yoga for many years in India and recently in Bali. Anu feels humbled and privileged to have worked with numerous students suffering from various conditions including multiple sclerosis, depression, bi-polar disorder, and diabetes with successful results.

The Yogarden is located on a quaint side street in the iconic area of Fishermans Village Koh Samui, in Thailand. The village community is rich in character, retaining its historical heritage through its architecture, warm welcoming locals and beautiful seafront, which harbors some of the islands most spectacular traditional boats. Serene views across to Koh Phangan cast a perfect backdrop to the village ambience. The lively streets tempt visitors with a plethora of shops, boutiques, bars, and restaurants and play host to a weekly pedestrian night market. Each Friday the village buzzes with an intoxicating, lively atmosphere. Street vendors from all over Thailand trade their handmade crafts and natural products, whilst the scents and smells of Thai cuisine fill the air and local musicians and traditional Thai dancers perform for passing audiences. The unique magic of Thailand and its people is here to be absorbed in one of the islands most treasured and intimate spots.
