The course is held in the spiritual city of Rishikesh in India, which is also known as the yoga capital of the world. Ashtak Yoga wants to give you an experience of authentic yoga which you will want to share from your heart with your own students. After graduation this program, you will be able to teach Hatha, Hatha Flow, Vinyasa Flow and Power Yoga style classes.

Kriya Ashram is a well known place of practice in Rishikesh. It has an amazing meditation hall and is located on the main road in Rishikesh in walking distance to restaurants, shops and the famous Ganges River. Silence is practiced in and around the hall and during meals. Modest clothing, covering knees and shoulders at all times is highly recommended. Ashtak Yoga has their own classroom space where you can relax and enjoy the experience.

You will be accommodated in simple private rooms with private bathrooms.

This is a new 26-day course, so students can take advantage of India's new 30-day e-Visa allowing students enough time to settle in, travel and rest before and after the course. The 200-hour yoga teacher training course offers complete theoretical and practical knowledge of yoga for instructors. A hands-on training program, that also includes all the important yogic elements to provide a deep understanding of the yoga practice and teaching, has been developed by Ashtak Yoga.

This teacher-training program is refined to give you a transformational experience as a yoga practitioner and instructor. You will gain a deeper understanding of all things about yoga and become part of a yogic community.

At the end of the course, you will leave with the confidence that you can bring home what you have learnt and continue as well as share the practice in modern society.   • Chanting & Meditation sessions will take place one evening per week.

    Kate is passionate about helping people down the yogic path and lifestyle. She loves helping bridge the gap between Eastern and Western practice. Arrival by airplane

Dehradun Jollygrant Airport (DED) is about 1 hour taxi ride from Rishikesh where the course is to be held. Students can make their own way or a taxi pick up service can be arranged for about 1000 to 1500 Rupees.

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 14 days before arrival.
