Join this 200-hour progressive teacher training created with a safe and effective structured curriculum. All the students will be encouraged to build upon their unique strengths and find their individual voice as a teacher. This Costa Rica yoga teacher training supports a high standard of teaching and ethics. The in-depth training experience supports the shift towards embracing life with awareness, acceptance of oneself, oneness, and reverence for the earth.
For this training, you will be staying at Don Jons Lodge and Restaurant in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. The lodge is located only 100 meters distance from the white sand beach and within a short walk to super markets, surf shops, international restaurants, and the local night places. All accommodations feature orthopedic mattresses, refrigerators in the rooms, fans or air conditioned, daily cleaning service, and free coffee for guests. The lodge also has a reception office, parking, hammocks, Wi-Fi internet signal, and security guard.
During this teacher training you will have the opportunity to experience a well-balanced program designed by experts which offer the highest quality training possible. This yoga training is comprised with the strengths of various selected yoga lineages including Yin yoga, Vinyasa flow yoga, Hatha yoga, Anusara yoga, and Restorative yoga. Throughout your training you will receive guidance on how to establish yourself as a professional yoga teacher This program will fully prepare you to teach yoga with competence and inspiration the fundaments of yoga philosophy, teaching methods, injury prevention, yoga sequencing, class structure, specific techniques for working with diverse populations, safe alignment in practice, sequencing with specific intention, accessing confidence with your true voice, postural analysis, hands-on assists, teaching methodology, creating a sacred space, and the business of teaching yoga.
This training offers all the necessary tools for you to become an amazing teacher of yoga. In this yoga teacher training, you will fully explore the interwoven threads of a holistic and integrated approach to your yoga practice and how to best share it with others. You will also have the opportunity to relax your thoughts while exploring the beach, swimming in the ocean, taking long walks on the endless coastline, and delving deeply into your inner and outer surroundings.
This training will be held at Santa Teresa in Costa Rica. Santa Teresa is located on the Nicoya Peninsula and is a paradise for surfers and beach seekers. Santa Teresa has endless miles of coastline for walking and some world-class surfing places to catch the waves. With the jungle bordering the beach, this place is serenely stunning. Santa Teresa is a paradise located on what continues to be voted on Trip Advisor, one of the worlds nicest beaches around the world and a melting pot of different cultures from all over the world, each trying to bring their scene to tropical beach paradise. Argentineans, Israelis, Italians, North Americans, Brazilians, Canadians, French, and Dutch, all quickly becoming neighbors and business owners in this slice of Costa Rica.
For the best pacific sunsets go to Mal Pais, Santa Teresa, the famous surfer's paradise, where people from around the world gather to challenge Playa Carmen's heart pounding surf breaks and enjoy the beach and night life. Growing rapidly in the last ten years, it not only attracts surfers but party people and investors from around the world. Playa Hermosa, further north is more difficult to get to, and has fewer facilities. Since there are no high-rise buildings at Santa Teresa, the coastline still looks pristine, backed by jungle covered hills and with a long sweep of white sand washed by the pacific surf. Behind the beach forest Santa Teresa's main drag, runs parallel to the coast on a potholed and dusty dirt road.
The last years the village has seen a huge spike in development and constructions now spread up the hills inland from the coast. Many tourists who had just been on a surf vacation in Costa Rica got hooked and made Santa Teresa their new home. The cross-cultural residents created a multitude of new restaurants and hotels in Santa Teresa. The town of Santa Teresa is relaxed and, safe, and easy to get around for all the travelers. Nature, seclusion, an unspoiled sandy beach, and abundant fresh fruits and vegetables create the perfect setting for a world class yoga teacher training.
During this training, you will be served three organic meals per day. All meals are nourishing, delicious, and healthy. For breakfast, you will have the option to choose fruit, granola, and oatmeal. For lunch, there will be two vegetarian options daily, including fresh salads, quinoa, veggies, eggs, and sandwiches. For dinner, a vegetarian buffet including hardy soups, salads, and local and international themed cuisine will be served.
Get the big catch with local fisherman. The Malpais oceans are full of mahi-mahi fish, yellowfin tuna, red snapper, grouper, and seabass. Bring fresh fish to the dinner table from the grand Pacific Ocean.
Other activities include kayak, stand up paddle board, surf, visit Moctezuma beaches and waterfalls, all-terrain vehicles rental, visit the tide pools, and visit the Cemetery Island.
You may book your flight to arrive at the San Jose International Airport (SJO), then take a short flight to the Tambor Domestic Airport (TMU), and then take a 45 minutes drive to Santa Teresa.
