For the curious, the brave, the humble, and the hopeful. So much more than a yoga teacher training. Searching out a teacher training happens when Awakening Arts recognizes something in them refuses to settle for a life disconnected from that which breathes them into being. Until they know how to listen to and dance with this unfurling life they are, this something in them will not rest. Nor should it. If you hunger for a deep, sincere, artful, and intelligent relationship to life, this training is for you.

This training is unlike any other. You can expect to deepen your comfort, belonging, and appreciation in self, community, and the world at large. This training will give you the skillset and confidence to teach across the board from beginners to advanced, from meditation and restorative practices to fluid flowing advanced asana classes in the style of Embodied Flow™. Each day, you will begin with your own sādhanā (practice).
You will learn through experiencing your own practice how to skilfully guide this journey for another. Mornings are for stillness, silence, mantra, breathwork, and contemplative writing. From your seated practice, you move into movement meditation and asana practice, embodying being, and moving this body into greater health, freedom, and relationship with life. As the days unfold, you will unpack the various layers of yogic philosophy, the timeless wisdom, the intelligent practices, and the rich stories that point toward your human experience and offer new possibilities.
You will explore the science and soul of sound and devotion, explore anatomy through felt experiences, learn how to recognize and support common challenges, how to care for the diverse unique bodies that come into your care, and how to offer sensitive effective assists, and explore the art of holding the space of the classroom with confidence, humility, and grace.
This training has all you need to begin teaching yoga and so much more. With a strong focus on who you are as a whole human, your relationship to your practice, to yourself, to the world, this training is a well-rounded experience that pours out in harmony with the core precepts of yoga.
