Do you feel ready to step into the role of an embodied feminine leader?

Practice finding and expressing your voice with a supportive group of women as you clarify and crystallize what your unique offering to the world looks like. Through peer teaching, communication exercises, and song circles, Danyasa Eco-Retreat holds space for you to practice the leadership role in divine feminine grace.

Are you interested in learning more about yoga at its roots beyond the physical practice?

Experience the power of ceremony and ritual to set intentions for the way your life unfolds. Claim your sovereignty and step through the multidimensional portal of the practice of yoga. Through mantra, meditation, dance, and asana, you will weave together beauty beyond the mat.

Do you feel called to dance, but have no dance background?

Movement is their birthright. No dance training or background is necessary to find your flow. Their facilitator has guided hundreds through dance medicine and is in service to assist the opening of uninhibited movement and free expression.

Are you curious about asana practice?

Although dance is blended into this yoga teacher training, you will also leave with a solid understanding of Vinyasa class structure. Dominical and the surrounding areas boast world-class surf, lush jungled covered mountains that soar from the sea, an abundance of exciting adventure opportunities, and a host of spectacular natural attractions ranging from waterfalls to sea caves to hidden beaches and more.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO). If renting a car, it allows three hours to arrive in Dominical from the airport. They do highly recommend renting a GPS with your vehicle, as most streets in Costa Rica do not have signs or even names. Shared-ride shuttles provide another option for getting to the location. Sit back and watch the scenery and leave the driving to the pros.

Shared-ride shuttles usually leave from the airport and generally cost around 55 USD each way. The shuttles take about three hours. They generally recommend Monkey Rides or Easy Ride. Private shuttles from the airport or the city run 160 USD and take about three hours. One can also take a 20-minute airplane flight from San Jose to Quepos and then take a taxi or rent a car to drive the remaining 30 minutes south to Dominical.

Arrival by bus

Public buses can take you from downtown San Jose right to the doorstep. The buses leave from the TRACOPA bus terminal, and the bus line is called Delio Morales. You will have to buy a ticket to Uvita, but you can get off anywhere. There are two buses each day. Each bus stops briefly at Orotina and Quepos before arriving at Dominical. The buses leave at 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and take about five hours to get to Dominical.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 14% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
