Yoga education helps in self-discipline and self-control, leading to an immense amount of awareness, concentration, and a higher level of consciousness. To enable the student to have good health. To practice mental hygiene. To possess emotional stability. To integrate moral values. To attain a higher level of consciousness. To be able to teach oneself and other-selves. Yoga education could help to equip oneself with basic knowledge about one’s personality, to learn to handle oneself well in all life situations, to learn techniques of gaining good health, to develop a discriminate mind capable of knowing the real from the unreal, and to face the dualities of life with equanimity.
Students will be provided with accommodation in the campus. All rooms are new with mountains-facing and some are with river-facing, attached washroom, hot-water heater 24 hours, filtered water, school is located in a very peaceful location surrounded by beautiful natural waterfalls, temples, ashrams, mountains, and river as well as the daily experience of beautiful sunrise and sunset from the school.
This Hatha/Vinyasa flow/Ashtanga-based 100 hours yoga teacher training course in Rishikesh is for all walks of life people. The aim of this program is to teach participants useful yoga practices so that they can learn to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle. This course is the first part of 200 hours yoga teacher training course. Generally, people who don’t have 4 weeks off to complete 200 hours yoga teacher training course at one time do this course as an option to complete 200 hours yoga course in two parts, 1st semester and 2nd semester.
Participants after completing the first semester 100 hours course can join the Himalayan yoga Association any time to complete the second Semester of the 100 hours course in order to complete their 200 hours certification. In case if students are not able to join Himalayan yoga Association at the school campus to complete their second semester, there is no problem as Himalayan yoga Association can provide those students an option to complete the second semester online with them. Once 200 hours course is completed, Himalayan yoga Association will provide the students with 200 hours certificate which makes them able to teach anywhere in the world as certified yoga teachers. This short-term course is designed for all walks of life people.

1. The course manual is provided to students during the course.
All classes are mandatory only in case of an emergency or illness one can take leave with respected teacher permission. Uninformed leaves won’t be accepted and this will leave a bad impression on student monthly performance.
A high degree of self-motivation is required for all aspects of the course. The practice and especially the teaching of yoga demand a high degree of self-discipline and purity. To ensure the success of the program, participants are required to attend all spiritual activities, meditation sessions, lectures, and asana classes. Meat, fish, eggs, black tea, coffee, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and nudity are prohibited during the course as they are counterproductive to the yoga practice. Participants who do not comply with the school rules may be dismissed from the course.
Smoking and alcohol are strictly prohibited in the school. If you are having a fast any day, you have to inform the kitchen manager for avoiding food waste. Always make disciplined, respect teachers, and follow all rules. Always be on time. If you are late means you will not be permitted to join the class. Clear your books of account before departure from the Himalayan Yoga Association. Before departure return your books, maps, or any goods which you borrowed. Himalayan Yoga Association provides accommodation for a student who joins the yoga course. So any friends or relatives will not be included in the accommodation. However, they can stay in school by renting another room.
The course fees will not be refundable. Only in the case of emergency students can join on other schedules. If the student cancels the course after joining it, the Himalayan yoga Association accepts cancellation but course fees will not be refunded in cancellation.

So, with the unconditional support of her Father and Sister, she left her job. She traveled for 6 months trying to understand and explore herself and the meaning of life.

During the training course, students are served 3 vegetarian meals per day (and a cup of chai during breakfast and evening tea break) for the duration of the course. The food provided at the center is 100% vegetarian. The food served is hygienically prepared, nutritious, and healthy. Himalayan yoga Association puts special emphasis on yogi food for all its students.
The meals are unlimited. Generally, you’ll get a plate of food with all of the various vegetarian Indian dishes appropriate for breakfast, lunch, or dinner (according to a yogic diet.)
