Most of the modern day diseases / psychosomatic diseases are multi dimensional and you need to tackle them not merely with physical symptomatic treatment. The full human system at all 5 levels has to be addressed and treated, only then there can be a lasting remedy to your problems of the modern era. Once you learn and practice yourself, you will be able to teach yoga therapy confidently to others. Himalayan Yoga Retreat and Ayurveda Center will also train you to teach others during this course. Since you will be using holistic authentic yoga techniques and tools, you are also trained and qualified as a “holistic yoga teacher”.
This course includes 150 contact hours of teaching, training by the teacher, and noncontact hours of self-practice, self-studying, doing assignments, self-teaching practice, etc ....

Upon completion of this course, you will receive an internationally recognized "Yoga Alliance International" advanced teacher training certificate on yoga therapy .

This training is a one-on-one or two-persons private training program. Each session lasts one hour thirty minutes. Printed notes will be sent through email regularly and students are also required to take their own notes.
A total course can be completed at your own pace, depending on how many sessions you take per day. You are suggested to take one session per day, where you will have time to study and practice at least 1.5 hour every day.
The teacher and student have to fix mutually suitable timings for 100 sessions, between 6 a.m. and 12 a.m. before they start the training. It can be flexible, and you can discuss and make changes if required.
Ayurveda is a different healthcare system of ancient India. Yoga compliments Ayurveda and modern medicine. Ayurveda basic knowledge will also be taught in this course.
Krishna Raja, master teacher in meditation and yoga has been teaching meditation for the last 20 years. He started practicing meditation and traditional Indian mindfulness yoga at the age of 8 under the guidance of his uncle. He is from a family which lives a traditional Indian life including meditation and yoga way of life. Later in his life he studied and researched the ancient scriptures of meditation, yoga, Buddhism, Hinduism and other related subjects in India, Nepal and Thailand. He was member of the Yoga Therapist team for the STOP DIABETES THROUGH YOGA project of the Yoga University.
