The training venue and accommodation for this YTT is the Risata Bali Resort. This four-star hotel is blooming not far from the white sand of Jerman Beach, and its sparkling and calm environment makes for a perfect and inspiring bubble to improve your YTT experience. It provides a tranquil environment that’s perfect for an immersive and inspiring stay.

It is hidden away from the famous Kuta Beach, in a beautiful lush tropical garden with a large pool that offers both peace and accessibility to local charms. The Risata Bali Resort is a blend of Balinese and Western-style architecture offering many pleasant services to give you an ideal yoga training experience. This will ensure that your yoga training is as comfortable as it is enriching.

The rooms

All YTT students will be accommodated in deluxe suite rooms, private or double share. These comfortable rooms are all equipped with a terrace or balcony, bathtub, and television. Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program

This Yoga Alliance-accredited course includes daily Hatha and Vinyasa classes. You'll learn about meditation, breathing exercises, teaching techniques, and anatomy. We'll also cover yoga philosophy and history.

Upon successful completion of this training, you'll be able to:

  • Confidently designed and led well-structured yoga classes.
  • Understand and apply fundamental yoga principles to your teaching and personal practice.
  • Cultivate your unique teaching style, authentically expressing your passion for yoga.
  • Register as an RYT200 yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance, opening doors to teaching opportunities worldwide.

Curriculum Overview

Daily Practice and Asana Lab

Master the fundamentals, then explore the advanced. Your daily practice and Asana Lab sessions follow a clear progression. You'll begin with foundational poses, building a solid base. Once you've mastered the basics, you'll progress to more challenging asanas.

In the Asana Lab, you'll dissect each pose, exploring its nuances:

  • Find the perfect form.
  • Connect movement with breath.
  • Cultivate body awareness.
  • Focus your gaze. (Drishti)
  • Use props for support and exploration.
  • Understand the effects of each pose.

You'll spend at least 4 hours daily honing your practice and expanding your knowledge.

Breathing Exercises (Pranayama)

Breathing is super important in yoga. You'll learn how to control your breath with different Pranayama techniques.

Discover day after day the different facets of Bali through the wonderful Risata Bali Resort. In the early morning, its calmness and sweetness will come to light as local activities slowly start, providing the right place and the right time for your daily meditation.

At noon, you will fully enjoy your break, feet in the sand, tasting a fresh juice or coconut while contemplating people surfing, or cooling yourself off in the ocean.

In the late afternoon, after your daily training, you will be right on time to relax and enjoy sunsets on Jerman Beach, known for being some of the most incredible in the world, contributing to your well-being, an essential part of your YTT experience. With Warung Pantai nearby, you can also enjoy fresh juices, coconuts, and a wide selection of tasty food.

Ideally located, you will have all facilities around you within walking distance, including a variety of dining options, massage salons, and laundry services. This will also give you the opportunity to spend your rest time and days off enjoying local markets, beach activities, local food, and the Hindu temples of Bali.

Additionally, you’ll enjoy direct access to Lippo Mall and be within a short walk of Discovery Shopping Mall, the local market, and Waterbom Park.

Located at an equal distance from Tanah Lot and Uluwatu, you will have the choice to fully enjoy the rice fields, temples, or the magnificent viewpoints, beaches, and cliffs of the peninsula.

The Risata buffet breakfast provides a wide selection, and for the course days, a vegetarian main dish is included at lunch to support your training.

Dinner

The dinners are not included but there will be many pleasant choices offered to you. From the exit of the hotel, there is a multitude of local restaurants and other Western restaurants a little further, still within walking distance.

If fatigue takes over the desire to discover the local culture, it is possible to take advantage of one of the two restaurants available at the Risata Hotel. The main restaurant will serve you Balinese, Indonesian, and Western cuisine and you will also find an amazing Indian restaurant.

They emphasize the wellness of students as rest and nutrition as well as the state of mind are important parts of intensive training.

There are plenty of other excursions to do in Bali, including several climbing volcanoes, magic dives, and UNESCO-protected rice fields.

The driver will wait for your arrival. When you arrive at Denpasar airport, you will have two choices of visa:
