This 50-hour advanced Hatha yoga teacher training course for yoga teachers is a special course to expand the information and skills learned during your foundational 200-hour yoga teacher training course. You will be delving deep into all facets of being a spectacular yoga teacher in today's world. The 50-hour training program is suitable for graduates from Diamond Heart Yoga and also graduates from different schools and traditions. You are also welcome if you haven't done any previous yoga training and are very interested in anatomy, functional anatomy, philosophy, and yoga alignment.

Many Yoga Teachers around the world feel inadequate or not confident to teach after doing their 200-hour training. In 200-hour, you should cover philosophy, anatomy, alignment, sequencing and more. But how deep you can go is limited.. and sometimes you hardly cover any of the above categories in your training. This is why this 50-hour intensive to help teachers realize their true potential and learn all you need to know to be an incredible teacher and healer.

The growth and experience you’ll gain from making a deeper commitment is a sure fire way to put you five steps ahead when you’re looking for that perfect yoga teacher position.

This retreat will be an intimate setting in a smaller group so you can grow, ask questions and receive feedback based on having been in the teacher’s shoes. You will keep being inspired and inspire others, water your inner cosmic garden with seeds of wisdom, knowledge and confidence.

Allow your taste buds to be tantalised and your body nourished by our clean, nutritious, and exciting cuisine. At House of Light, all the ingredients that go into our vegetarian, vegan, and raw food are either grown in our gardens or carefully sourced from local farmers. Our menus are designed to feed both body and soul, using fresh ingredients and organic whole foods prepared with love and consciousness. All dietary requirements can be catered for (vegan options available).

Example breakfast

Fresh fruit salad with cow or sheep yogurt and local honey homemade granola with dairy and non dairy milks made from hemp, rice, or chia seed, as well as fruit compote that can be made of fig and ginger, strawberry and mint, or apple, raisin, and cinnamon. Boiled organic eggs, bread, butter, jams, and nut butters will also be present.

Example lunch

Mixed leaf salad with sprouts, seasonal flowers, and a tahini, coriander, and honey dressing;0 mini peppers stuffed with herby rice and lentils topped with grilled sheep cheese; garlic mushrooms topped with goats cheese and thyme; guacamole; butternut squash hummus;and homemade raw gazpacho.

Example dinner:

Roast beetroot and yoghurt dip, hummus, baba ghanoush, crunchy vegetable sticks and flat breads, mixed vegetable tagine. mejadra (rice, lentils, spices and crispy fried onion), and crunchy Moroccan salad with dukkha (ground hazelnuts, sesame seeds, cumin and coriander)

Example snacks

Selection of raw chocolates, coconut and mango, fruit and nuts. Oatcakes with local fig cake, goats cheese, and honey; gluten free, sugar free lemon and caraway seed cookies; detox green juice with apple, cucumber, spinach, pineapple, mint, kiwi, and lime; and vegan chocolate fudge

Example dessert

Pears poached in white wine or elderflower, with cardamon and saffron served with creme fraiche, sheep yogurt or cashew nut cream; raw, vegan banana and blackberry ice-cream with jaggery peanut brittle; and rich chocolate and avocado mousse with cherry coulis.

Example beverages

Homemade ginger and green tea kombucha fresh seasonal juices, a wide selection of herbal teas and fresh herb infusions, organic tea and coffee, and thick vegan hot chocolate made with brown rice, agave, and coconut oil.

There is an office where practical information can be shared and essentials can be bought. Locally grown produce from Orgiva market is supplemented with fruit, vegetables, and herbs from the House of Light garden. Optional activities in guests’ free time include stunning walks through the hills and alongside the rivers and acequias (water channels), horse-riding, exploring Orgiva town and market, enjoying various holistic treatments, and playing on the trapeze and aerial equipment in the garden!

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Málaga Airport (AGP). Airport transfer is not included. Please send an inquiry to Diamond Heart Yoga for more information on how to get to the venue.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
