This 200-hour yoga teacher training provides the fundamentals you need to become a certified yoga teacher or take your own practice to the next level. Ideal for advanced yoga practitioners and yoga enthusiasts, personal trainers, group exercise instructors, and even the yoga-curious. You also learn how to offer modifications, posture options, clarification of contraindications, and how to create a complete series of classes with progressive levels of difficulty.

Certifications

Students who complete their subsequent training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®)

The comprehensive curriculum of this fully accredited instructor course exceeds the standards of the international Yoga Alliance. Successful graduation authorizes you to become an officially Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200).

Many of the graduates continue to practice with Drishti Yoga School after they graduate; some even teach at the ashram, but all share a bond and stay in touch.

Location

The school is situated in the mountains of Rishikesh, it has a yoga studio, dining area, chill out zones, beautiful rooftop, and free Wi-Fi. The yoga school is located in the heart of the sacred township of Rishikesh on the bank of the holy river Ganges and at the foothills of the Himalayas, the abode of yogis. The local market is 300 to 400 meters far from the yoga school.

During the course, you will get the Vegan and yogic food, the sattvic diet which helps you to start your yoga session with positive energy. What we eat directly affects our learning and practice, therefore during yoga and meditation food plays a crucial role. You can come to Rishikesh by flight. Book your flight to arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), from where you can take a domestic flight to Jolly Grant Airport (DED).

Arrival by bus

From the Delhi airport, you can get a taxi to bring you to Delhi ISBT bus station. From there you can find many government and private transportation to bring you to Laxman Jhula, Rishikesh.

Arrival by train

The nearest railway station is the Haridwar Railway station. From there, you will find many buses, taxis, and other transportation services that will bring you to Laxman Jhula.
