Earth Yoga Village is strongly engaged in making the village more eco-friendly. It runs partly on solar power and they work hard on adding further eco-friendly measures. Their connection with nature is vital and they strive towards that connection in their every day life and with every action.

The accommodation options for this programme are either a dorm, a four-bed room, double room, or a single room. The beautiful and comfortable village holds space for up to 35 guests, an on-site kitchen where the meals are lovingly prepared, two yoga shalas, two healing and rejuvenation spaces, a small library, and a chill-out area. Bed linen, pillows, towels (not to be taken out of the village), and mosquito nets are all provided, as are blankets - if you need them.

Earth Yoga Village is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School (RYS), so students who complete their subsequent training are eligible to register 100-hours as YACEP - Continuous Education hours with Yoga Alliance.

Saturdays are your days off. You will be engaged in doing Karma yoga voluntarily in your free time during the teacher training to learn and practice yoga holistically.

Day one is dedicated to you settling in to the village and attending the opening ceremony in the late afternoon/evening, followed by dinner. You are therefore suggested to arrive at the village at the latest by 2 p.m. on day one to not miss out.

The closing ceremony will be on the third from the last day of your course, followed by a free day before your departure on the last day. Check-out time is 11 a.m., but you may join in the yoga holiday activities once your course has finished, until your departure, as desired.

A high degree of self-motivation is required for all aspects of the course. Basic knowledge of yoga postures and philosophy is helpful. A sincere desire to learn and an open mind to the teachings of yoga is required. Self-discipline is required during the course as it is physically, mentally, and spiritually demanding; but also highly rewarding!

You are encouraged to apply for the course when you are fully ready on a holistic level and committed to meeting the challenges of the course and accepting the joys with an open heart. These are important attributes that will add to your learning experience during the course and also to the learning experience of your fellow students.

This course will be taught in English, therefore it is recommended that you are proficient in the language. To ensure the success of the program, participants are required to attend all spiritual activities, meditation sessions, lectures, and asana classes.

This program is designed for 200 hours of yoga teacher training course graduates (RYT 200) to enhance their knowledge and go deeper into self.
