You will be accommodated in nice, clean, and comfortable rooms just around the corner of the yoga studio where your teacher training will take place.   • Jonathan Matahi Lefevre

    Jonathan Matahi Lefevre was born in Tahiti and grew up between Polynesia, Bali, and India. After a long period of travelling and studying with various shamans and mystics he eventually went back for more academic training and graduated from the Kimura Shiatsu Institute in Tokyo, Japan; the International Professional School of Bodywork, San Diego,California; and the British School of Osteopathy, London, UK. He was then able to blend in his work Western science with Eastern spirituality while exploring the higher common threads linking the various cultures he had been exposed to.

    Natalie was born in South Africa where she completed her four year business degree at the University of Pretoria before immigrated to Indonesia in 2014. She became a FlyHigh Yoga Teacher on the Gili Islands in 2015 and continued teaching for a year before completing her 200 Hr Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training on Gili Trawangan. Now living in Ubud, Bali, Natalie is a full time teacher, teaching FlyHigh Yoga and Vinyasa at the Ubud Yoga Centre. Ubud Yoga Center is relatively new yoga place in Ubud to be. It is settled in a beautiful location, only a five-minute drive from the center of Ubud Village, just far enough to capture quiet surroundings free of stress from commercial tourism. It offers beautiful view on its green surroundings right from your yoga shala and it is including: yoga center with three fully equipped light yoga rooms, shower facilities, and lockers, Gong center, kids center, healthy restaurant, retreat cafe and wine bar, yogic store, and energy exchange programs. Breakfast will be prepared in a restaurant of Ubud Yoga Centre, where they put special emphasis on food’s quality and its nutritional value. For a self-service breakfast in a buffet style, you can choose from different locally grown fruits, cereals / granola, yogurt, milk, tea, and coffee. All the food is prepared from local organic ingredients.

You will have one day free each training week, four days free in total. Free days are meant for you to rest or you can use them to do a bit of sightseeing in Bali. You can relax in one of many spas in the area, take a massage, pedicure, manicure, scrub, a healing therapy or one of the many options they offer in friendly prices. Spend your day more active, visit one of many temples Bali have, one which is close to Ubud is famous Elephant Cave, take a daily bike ride along the hills and rice paddies of Ubud, visit them in their famous shape Tegalalang, climb the volcano Batur, visit one of the famous dance performances, Kecak or Legong dance, or visit one of the beaches close to Kuta, Seminyak, Uluwatu or Nusa Dua.

Please book your flight to arrive at Denpasar International Airport (DPS). Transfer from Denpasar airport will be organized by us upon request.

Arrival by ferry / boat

If you decide to arrive on Bali by boat, you will come first to Padangbai harbour. From there you can use free shuttle service, organize by your boat company, that will bring you directly to Ubud. Transport from center Ubud to our organization is available upon request.
