Hari Om Yoga Vidya School is a warm and small yoga school in the heart of Rishikesh, India. Tradition and coziness are the things that they value the most. To achieve this, they keep their school small by only sharing with one small group of students (less than 15) and by selecting teachers with a solid ancient Himalayan tradition.
This 100-hour YTT is either the first half of the 200-hour YTT for foundational knowledge or the second half for more advanced students. It is possible to attain a 200-hour YTT after completing both 100-hour YTT at different times. Foundational goes from the 2nd - 15th and advanced from the 16th - 29th of every month.
Hari Om Yoga Vidya School offers accommodation with excellent quality, assuring that you will have a pleasant and comfortable stay. During your retreat, you will be staying at a beautiful secluded retreat center situated in Rishikesh. The first week is the most difficult of all as your mind and body experience an abrupt change. It is also the most exciting as the Yoga universe is displayed in its true form for the first time to many. This week is all about learning the basics of each discipline.

After an intense week, your body is getting used to the course. The practice will grow, and you will start to feel more confident. It will be time to realize what you have learned and incorporate it into your life.

By now, Yoga is flowing through your veins. Week 2 is about integrating everything you have learned so far, apply it to your daily life, and be able to share it with the world.

You will join 3 different excursions on Rishikesh which may include Ganga Arti, visit temples, Picnic on the forest, or others.
Pramod Kumar Sahoo is a 200 and 500-hour registered yoga teacher with the USA Yoga Alliance. He was born in a spiritual family in 1973 in Odessa (South-East part of India). From his early childhood, he began his life full of devotion. He spent most of his childhood life sitting alone in meditation in deep silence, going to the mountains, temples, and learning the yoga tradition.
Prashant Jakhmola was born in Rishikesh, India. Since his childhood, he has been practicing yoga and meditation by the guidance of his father. He moved to Bihar School of Yoga to learn more about the systematic study of yogic science. He finished his academic studies in 2010 and started sharing his knowledge. Now, he is teaching in Rishikesh and abroad. He is excellent in the therapeutical approach of asanas.
Som Datt is a passionate teacher that aids students to find a meaning in their lives. For him, yoga is the best way to transform the different energies of the body into spiritual energy. He has a master in yogic science and a naturopathy diploma. He achieved a Uttarakhand gold medal for his master degree. Som Datta honors always his guru and says that his blessings satisfy all his needs. His final aim is that his students discover their real knowledge within.
Mahesh is considered one of the best philosophy teachers in Rishikesh. He has attained such knowledge through his devoted master as well from recognized yoga universities. He has vast experience in yoga science, pranic healing, and philosophy. Due to his capacities, he has been invited to international yoga seminars, conferences, and workshops. He knows the real yoga philosophy, accelerates the whole yoga path. Wisdom arises from both knowledge and practice.
Vikal ji is a fully devoted meditation teacher. He is fully experienced in pranayama, Mudra, Bandha, Satkriya, AcroYoga, and classical mantra chanting. He has a degree in yogic science, naturopathy. His lessons are unique and make everyone to easily learn the art of pranayama and meditation. He teaches simple and powerful methods for his students. Students rapidly learn this vital art and get the confidence to share it with others. He follows traditional techniques in a modernistic way.
Swami Atmatatwananda Saraswati was born in 1952 in the state of Odisha, India. From his childhood, he had a keen interest in the spiritual life. He began his career as a science teacher. At the age of 28, he left his worldly life and joined the world-famous master Paramahansa Swami Satyananda Saraswati in Munger, Bihar. After six years with his master, he traveled India and Nepal conducting yoga camps for two years. After four years in Odisha, he then moved to Rishikesh, the holy city on the foothill of Himalaya and holy river Ganges.

Hari Om Yoga Vidya School can arrange transportation from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) to the school. They will meet you at the exit gate of the airport. The cost of a the transportation is 90 USD.
You can also take a train from New Delhi Train Station to Haridwar (a bigger town which is 24 kilometers from Rishikesh or 45 minutes drive). From Haridwar, Hari Om Yoga Vidya School can provide you a transfer by car to Rishikesh for 30USD.
Being a popular tourist destination, Rishikesh has a good network of buses connecting it with important places such as Haridwar, Dehradun, and New Delhi. Buses depart in the morning and late evening from the Kashmere Gate ISBT, New Delhi for Rishikesh every day. You can choose from a regular, deluxe, or a luxurious coach.
Taking a taxi up to Rishikesh is worth considering, as it is connected to other cities via the National Highway 58, which is in good condition for most of the year. The drive from Delhi to Rishikesh would take approximately six to seven hours. The approximate fare from New Delhi is 90 USD and from Dehradun is 30 USD.
