Swami Prakash believes in the holistic growth of the practitioner and therefore includes therapies and training in breathing techniques to aid in meditation, pressure points to remove emotional blockages, and ayurvedic knowledge. HYR’s YTT students are trained in these disciplines as a part of their teacher training and can use this knowledge to further their practice. Himalayan Yoga Retreat Teacher Training offers a comprehensive 200 Hours 30-day Teacher Training Certification that provides thorough training in all aspects of yoga, designed for motivated practitioners who wish to make yoga a way of life, and wish to spread the knowledge.

The training will include teaching of Ayurveda including doctor consultations, meditation, breathing techniques including Bliss of Breath, emotional blockage treatments, and yoga therapy to bring peace to your mind, body, and spirit. Students are encouraged to participate actively in all classes, with the option to ask questions to any teacher outside of lecture time.
