About the multi-style teacher training course

This 200-hour yoga teacher training course is based on eight limbs by Patanjali and you will practice Vinyasa (dynamic flow), Vinyasa (slow flow), Hatha, Yin yoga, Nidra toga, Bhakti yoga, and live in a yogic lifestyle community, be part of more than a training, but a like-minded community from all over the world.

You will explore and experience the difference of fluid integration of breath through the movement in Vinyasa yoga, the stillness of breath through stillness of body in Yin yoga and the balanced Hatha style.

In this manner, you have the option of choosing your style of yoga practice and teaching in the future.

Whether you are new to yoga or a seasoned yogi, whether you are a man or woman, whether you are in your early 20s or late 70s, this yoga course is designed or everyone, providing modifications and adjustments for each unique body. Group size is limited to 6 people to guarantee individual attention and high quality course.

The curriculum

The prime objective is to prepare future yogis physically and mentally to be able to teach yoga by themselves. The main areas that will be covered are classified into 5 modules: yoga teaching techniques, teaching methodology and yogic lifestyle, yoga philosophy, anatomy and physiology, and practice. The training schedule is designed for all levels and the teachers can't wait to share this unique schedule with you!

Program overview

Day 1: Arrival

On the first day, Holivestic Yoga offers pick up from Grosseto depending on the time you arrive by bus or by train, as the location of the venue is 20 minutes by car away from the city. You have time to integrate yourself in the space and take a breath after traveling.

Day 7: Excursion / beach day!

It is essential to take a time off to relax the body and mind from studying, that's why the 7th day is designed to give yourself a rest and dive into the background of the area!

Day 14: Excursion / beach day off again!

After the 2nd week of training and a lot of homework done, it is essential to give yourself a resting day and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings of the area, little villages and the constant beautiful scenery.

Day 19: Examination and graduation day

Congratulations! You've made it this far! The 2nd week of training, you will be already getting creative with designing your own yoga flows (part of homework), adding your own sparkle to it! You will see how easy it is with taking little steps every day.

You will be a pro at instructing a yoga class all by yourself! During this day, each of you will teach you a flow and the teachers will be your students. This day is designed and dedicated to you and your teaching skills, to notice the progress and the growing of a great yoga teacher.

During the 2nd half of the day, there will be a small graduation ceremony, during which you will be certified with a 200-hour yoga teacher certification.

Day 20: Farewell and big hugs day

Hopefully this is not a goodbye day, rather a see you soon around moment!

Daily morning asanas: 17.5 / 20 hours

Daily morning classes will include pranayama, mantra, mudra and asanas, which are focused on stretching and toning your body for the rest of the day. Holivestic Yoga master classes with classical yogic concepts and modern anatomical intelligence.

Daily morning meditation: 17.5 / 20 hours

Students actively practice mindfulness, Vipassana meditation, sound healing, OSHO meditation, counting breaths meditation, pranic meditation, walking meditation, Trataka meditation, guided visualization. Directly experience the benefits and challenges and note the effects of consistent daily meditation by the end of the training.

Meditation techniques explained: 4.5 / 7 hours

You will get historical insights, based on historical studied timelines of meditation and get clear instructions on how to practice and instruct this mental journey.

Patanjali, the eight limbs of yoga: 2 / 4 hours

You will get an introduction into the yogic philosophy the current modern yoga is based on, what lifestyle encompasses behind this philosophy.

Yamas and Niyamas: 2.5 / 4 hours

You will learn the ethical aspects of what it means to be a yogi and how to integrate them into your modern pace of life.

Anatomy: 25.5 / 40 hours

One of the major focuses of this training will be learning anatomical aspects of the body and the right anatomical adjustments for each body. The anatomical proportions may be similar from person to person, yet each body is unique and different and it is important to note the mild tiny differences you may meet in your future yoga classes, but also for your general knowledge.

Asanas practicum: 19.5 / 27 hours

Daily 90 minute workshops will be integrated in between yoga classes with focus on breaking down the postures, how to modify them, which muscles are engaged in each and tips how to prevent injuries.

Pranayama techniques: 2.5 / 5 hours

You will get a daily practice of pranayama, integrated into your daily yoga classes. Also you will get pranayama workshops, during which you will get clear instructions how to practice pranayama, and very important how to teach to your future students.

Daily evening yoga classes (Yin / Nidra yoga): 17.5 / 20 hours

Evening classes are designed to calm down the body from the intensive training day, rest and honor your body for being capable of so many skills, and prepare your mental state into a healthy yogic sleep.

Self study time: 25 / 35 hours

You will be provided with access to Yoga Anatomy By Leslie Kaminoff (to study anatomy), Light on Yoga By Iyengar (to study asanas), We are All Brothers by Gandhi (to study karma yoga), and other material in the library.

Daily homework: 18 / 20 hours

From day 1 of the training course, you will be getting a small homework to get closer to become a successful yoga teacher! Your homework will be divided in individual and team works, to create a safe space for you to practice as much as possible to be already integrated in the role of teacher once you leave the training!

Situated in Southern Tuscany, the enchanting region remains completely unspoiled. It consists of 130 kilometers of coast line with beaches, pinewoods and rocky shores. Known as Maremma, it has a stunning and varied scenery that gives way to golden beaches, crystal-clear waters, and 50 shades of green foliage.

The natural beauty also encompasses an incredible history and many archaeological sites are dating back to the Romans. This part of Tuscany, rich in nature and history, has everything you could wish for!
