Course information
In Yoga Nidra, it is a general belief that when you sleep, you do not truly rest, your mind remains active and unaware of even its own activity, which is why you often wake up still tired. With the practice of Yoga Nidra, often referred to as conscious sleep, you hope to reach the state of ultimate relaxation where the body is completely and utterly relaxed while the mind remains aware. The practice of Yoga Nidra is a deeply emotional one with both the mind and body coming into balance, cleaning out old blockages and the release of pent-up emotion.
This training is a monumental opportunity for yoga teachers to add a valuable skill to their registry as well as a unique practice to integrate into classes. At the same, this will benefit a regular practitioner as much as someone new to the practice as the lessons you will learn on the course will be applied later throughout your spiritual journey.
