In the heart of the Sacred Valley, Kula Collective has found a powerful space for opening and moving your heart. Accompanied by two local Peruvian shamans, your journey there will guide you to the deepest parts of yourself.
The course is held on Sacha Munay, which translates as love from the ancient forest, nestled in an oasis of native plants and fruit trees and is nourished by a magnificent waterfall. It is a place to connect to the incredible depth and beauty of what nature offers. Sach’a Munay's accommodations are beautiful shared bungalows surrounded by lush gardens. Each guest room is a reflection of the Peruvian culture of the Sacred Valley. Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

The Kula Collective 200-hour training provides a deep immersion into the practice of yoga - living, learning, and embracing all aspects of a yogic lifestyle and deepening the connection to oneself and the earth through the wisdom of shamanic healing practices. These traditions, designed to grant access to the infinite wisdom you carry within, are smoothly blended together to form a holistic offering rooted in the Indian philosophy of yoga.
Kula Collective's 200-hour yoga teacher training focuses on the expansion of your own sacred consciousness so that you can fully embody your practice and radiate the teachings of yoga by united in mind, body, and spirit. The program meets Yoga Alliance standards for teaching methodology, anatomy, yogic theory, and special education. This course will provide a solid foundation of yoga history, the four traditional paths, eight limbs of Ashtanga yoga, meditation, and exploration of asana through the signature Kula Flow and its asana analysis.
After learning the Kula Flow you deepen your understanding of self through the study of yoga philosophy, cleansing, Bhakti yoga, and ceremony. You share creative teaching methodology for designing balanced and holistic classes, using the Kula signature sequences as building blocks, and providing support for new teachers to creatively sequence their own classes. The course will give multiple opportunities for participants to teach and receive feedback so that they leave with not only a fully prepared sequence but multiple shorter sequences and a plethora of inspiration ready to create from the heart.
The training provides you with concrete tools and clear strategies to live your life with passion and purpose. They understand how you feel; this path is not an easy one, yet they have found that even those who have no plans of actually teaching yoga have come away deeply transformed by this experience, with crystal clarity on steps they can take to manifest their dreams into reality. Throughout the time together you engage in self-inquiry to clear space for the true teacher within to shine.
By releasing the stories and holdings that no longer serve you, you create more space in your bodies and mind to see your gifts, your passions, and the essence of who you are as beings on a path to holistic, connected living. This training will provide a strong foundation in yogic practice and philosophy, and a fresh perspective on life. It is an opportunity to cultivate a practice if you do not have one and to deepen your existing practice if you do.

Each of the training programs has been carefully designed to incorporate 200 intensive hours using the Kula Collective signature structure of the Chakana. The Andean Cross allows a transformative journey through the lower, middle, and upper worlds of this ancient tradition, allowing you to explore the many levels of your being. Beginning with the lower world, you explore your unconscious and physical abilities and limitations, recognizing and breaking through self-created boundaries and limiting beliefs.
By releasing what no longer serves you, you create more space in the body and mind through the cultivation of awareness and the understanding of the roots of yoga, anatomy, foundational practices, and selfless service. Throughout this cycle, you will practice and learn in-depth the poses and sequencing of the Kula basic flow, with daily opportunity to teach to peers and receive feedback.
In the middle world, you empower discover more of who you are, through experiencing elemental awareness and self-inquiry, allowing you to embody the teachings and live to your full potential. After teaching their first full yoga class, participants dive deeper into the work of Patanjali's Ashtanga (eight limbs) philosophy, applied anatomy, philosophy, pranayama, Ayurveda, and chakras, deepening understanding of your true nature and evoking a strong love for the self and each other.
From your work in the lower and middle worlds, you experience a sense of freedom in the upper world as you expand, shifting from gross to more subtle realms of consciousness, letting you step into your radiant power. With topics such as complementary holistic health practices, yoga sutras in-depth, and the profession of yoga, you close your training with a clear personal practice and teaching plan, fueled with inspiration to grow your gifts and manifest your dreams into reality.
Their curriculum is split into four teaching tracks, woven through each of the three cycles. The four arts recognize and develop the studies in yoga in a thoroughly holistic manner, stimulating the students to become inspired, knowledgeable, and intuitive teachers, expressing and modeling all aspects of this ancient lifestyle practice.
Kylie began practicing yoga over 15 years ago while living in Colorado. She is dedicated to cultivating yoga as a tool for students to empower their journey inwards and embrace the present moment. She studied in the yoga capital of the world, Rishikesh, India, and after training with an Iyengar certified teacher for five months she began stepping into the role of a facilitator. Her instruction includes close attention to proper alignment with props and hands-on adjustments and deepening the pose in order to reach ‘ah-ha’ moments.
Gaiatri (E-RYT 500 and YACEP) is a passionate teacher, a channel of wisdom that seeds deep understanding, trust, and enthusiasm. The holistic nature with which she approaches life imbibes her students with a full spectrum of teachings and skills. Gaiatri lives the philosophy of yoga both in her self-practice as well as off the mat. Just as she allows Asana to ground her spirit into her body through deep meditation guided by prana, Gaiatri also brings the unconditional love and union found in deep presence into each breath of her life.
