Pre-application requirements

This 300-hour yoga teacher training requires the prerequisite of having already taken a 200-hour yoga teacher training, having teaching experience, and strong asana practice. If you do not meet these requirements, but still feel like this training is a good fit for you, please contact Kula Collective.

About the course

Step into the wisdom of self (vidya), yoga (union with the divine), shamanism (interaction with the spirit world), and Ayurveda (the Hindu science of health and medicine). Surrounded by the wisdom of the sacred Apus (ancient mountains) and cleansing rivers, you peel away the layers of your shadows, understanding your passions to reveal your true authentic purpose. Here, in the heart of the Sacred Valley, you find a powerful space for opening and moving your hearts, supported by local healers and the deep wisdom of this earth.

Moving through the three worlds of the Chakana in its homeland, you identify and connect with your root creative selves, your passions, and your dharma (your life path). This Peru 300-hour program explores a fusion of the practice and philosophy of the mystical traditions of yoga, Shamanism, ancient wisdom, and Ayurveda. Wake with the mountain sun, taking time to absorb the magnificence of the surroundings, breathe deeply, move slowly, and connect to the ancient wisdom of this land.

Through exploring and healing your own selves and uncovering the whispers of your spirit, you empower yourself to share your yoga from the truth of your own essence. The wisdom of this land runs in the people, the way of life, and in the plants themselves, and this training calls on this ancient knowledge as a symbiotic guide through the path of yoga. With ancient monuments and sacred sites marking vortices of energy in the land, this ancient knowledge flows here as a symbiotic guide through the path of yoga.

The location in the high Andes provides a unique opportunity to be in nature, amongst people who have lived in much the same way for thousands of years. The Sacred Valley of Peru has long been sought out as one of the most powerful energetic centers in the world. With many hikes in the surrounding area, ancient sacred sites, as well as traditional towns such as Urubamba and Pisac accessible nearby, visitors will find it easy to connect with the spirit of Peru.

Through diving deep within to heal your own selves, you radiate the change and peace you wish to share in this world. The first day of training starts with an optional gentle or Restorative class at 4:00 p.m. You will meet for dinner and opening circle at 5:30 p.m. Training ends on the last day after breakfast.

  • Become intimate with sacred ceremony, integrating through experience and learning to incorporate it into your own offerings

  • Feel yourself recharge as you come alive in the powerful, ancient, and wise energy of the Sacred Valley

What you will love about the training

The Kula Collective 300-hour training is a transformational journey to your highest self, to understand your true essence as a teacher, healer, and a part of all that Is. This course is a deep-dive immersion that provides tools to deepen your practice and sharpen your spirit, cleansing away that which no longer serves and creating space to manifest that which does. This is a self-purification to connect with the deep, intuitive, and creative part of yourself, inspiring you to step onto your mat as a teacher from your most aligned and luminous state of being.

Kula Collective's 300-hour yoga teacher training focuses on honing in on your essence as a teacher; following your greatest excitement towards the cultivation of your unique gifts. Through the expansion of your own sacred consciousness and the full embodiment of your practice, they support you to radiate the teachings of yoga in your own powerful and distinct way. Throughout the time together, you engage in self-inquiry to clear space for the true teacher within.

From the beginning, you offer personalized attention to support you as you let go of past stories and draw out your wisdom and passions, helping you to identify your most aligned essence as a teacher and practitioner. Interspersed throughout the days and evenings, you create a sacred space for sharing and celebrating your connection through Bhakti yoga. You meditate as you breathe, bend, dance, and laugh your way through your experience.

You allow your practice to be a ceremony each time. You live this practice. And in doing so, you do not just share yoga, you embody yoga. Every day is constructed with care and attention to offer a way of experiencing each one of the four arts as a part of the whole - the art of yoga. You bow to the inner guru who knows what calls you and gives thanks to the wisdom that is yet to be revealed.

They understand how you feel; this path is not an easy one, yet they observe over and over how the advanced training and powerful personalized offering that is the Kula Collective 300-hour program can not only take your teaching to the next level and reignite your offerings with passion and inspiration but also bring transformational clarity to all areas of your life as you leap forward in your own personal spiritual journey.
