There in the heart of the Sacred Valley, lies a powerful space for reconnection to the heart of your yoga, supported by local healers and the deep wisdom of this earth. Surrounded by the wisdom of the Apus (sacred mountains) and cleansing rivers, you will be supported to understand your passions, empower your shadows, and reveal your true authentic purpose.
The course will be held in Sacha Munay, which translates as love from the ancient forest, nestled in an oasis of native plants and fruit trees and is nourished by a magnificent waterfall. It is a place to connect to the incredible depth and beauty of what nature offers.
Sacha Munay's accommodations are beautiful shared bungalows surrounded by lush gardens. Each guest room is a reflection of the Peruvian culture of the Sacred Valley.
The experience of Sacha Munay is a mix of Andean culture, Peruvian roots, and natural elegance, a place to connect to the incredible depth and beauty of what nature in the Sacred Valley offers.
Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).
This 300-hour yoga teacher training requires the prerequisite of having already taken a 200-hour yoga teacher training, as well as having teaching experience and a strong asana practice. If you don’t meet these requirements, but still feel like this training is a good fit for you, please ask Kula Collective.
Moving through the three worlds of the chakana in its homeland, you'll identify and connect with your root creative self.
This Peru 300-hour YTT explores a fusion of the practice and philosophy of the mystical traditions of yoga, shamanism, ancient wisdom, and Ayurveda. Step into the wisdom of self (vidya) through a focus on therapeutic-style yoga on a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual level.
Kula Collective's 300-hour level trainings are carefully curated to draw out your unique gifts in teaching and in life to help you share yoga from the truth of your own essence. The wisdom of this land runs in the people, the way of life, and in the plants themselves, and this training calls on this inherent knowledge as a symbiotic guide through the path of yoga.
Wake with the mountain sun, taking time to absorb the magnificence of the surroundings. Breathe deeply, move slowly, and connect to the ancient wisdom of this land.
Every fourth day of the eight-day cycle will be a half day, and every eighth day will be a full day of self-sadhana
The above is just an example of a daily schedule (will vary depending on location and facilitators).
Jiya is a deeply connected leader who roots her teaching in the healing energy of nature. Her teaching invites students to explore their own unique unfolding through profound awareness and trust in the wisdom of the self. Jiya is also a talented musician and sound healer who seeks out native chants and medicine songs from around the world to complement her work.
Gaiatri (E-RYT 500 and YACEP) is a passionate teacher, a channel of wisdom that seeds deep understanding, trust, and enthusiasm. The holistic nature with which she approaches life imbibes her students with a full spectrum of teachings and skills. Gaiatri lives the philosophy of yoga both in her self-practice as well as off the mat. Just as she allows Asana to ground her spirit into her body through deep meditation guided by prana, Gaiatri also brings the unconditional love and union found in deep presence into each breath of her life.
Ankati is a yoga teacher, sound healer, ecstatic dance DJ, and ceremonial facilitator who has been a student of yoga since she was 19. After mostly focusing on the Asana practice that helped her heal her relationship with her body, Ankati connected with the path of Shamanism and a deeper, earth-centric spiritual path when she lived in intentional community in Costa Rica for two years. She has been devoted to practicing and sharing the profound wisdom of this path since.
The training location in the high Andes provides a unique opportunity to be in nature, amongst people who have lived in much the same way for thousands of years. The Sacred Valley of Peru has long been sought out as one of the most powerful energetic centers in the world.
With many hikes in the surrounding area, ancient sacred sites marking vortices of energy in the land, as well as traditional towns such as Urubamba and Pisac accessible nearby, visitors will find it easy to connect with the spirit of Peru. Through diving deep within to heal your own self, you will radiate the change and peace you wish to share in this world.
The course includes three nutritious vegetarian meals per day, drawing on local Peruvian cuisine and superfoods. Sach'a Munay serves delicious meals with locally-grown and lovingly prepared ingredients, including local quinoa and unusual varieties of the infamous potato.
