In Villa Flores, you are going to find many places where to rest, different terraces, among the garden with salted water swimming pool. A large table to fit up to 20 people to eat together. There is a fireplace for the days that you need to bring more coziness. And a Laundry so you can wash if it's needed during your stay.


All the rooms are large to ensure enough space, for your stay to feel comfortable. Each room has an ensuite bathroom unless the mixed dorm, which has its own bathroom outside the room. Please notice that the distribution of the rooms might change in function of the group.



Hormone yoga is interesting for everyone who is interested in motivation, psychology, and neurobiology. So actually for all of us - because haven't you already asked yourself why we humans do what we do?

Without hormones as neurotransmitters we wouldn't get out of bed in the morning and can't fall asleep in the evening - but we often only learn how important hormones and their tasks are in our body when something gets out of balance: substances or activities that release dopamine can lead to addiction, a lack of melatonin causes us to experience sleepless nights, or dwindling estrogen levels leaves a desire to have children unfulfilled or causes all kinds of undesirable side effects with the onset of menopause.

In this training, you will learn how your yoga practice influences your hormone levels and how your endocrine system is linked with the Chakra system. You will learn Hormone Yoga Therapy according to Dinah Rodrigues and moreover, you will discuss what it means to be a woman and how to support women throughout their regular cycle as well as throughout the different stages of their lives.

After the training, you will be equipped with a deep understanding of physical as well as emotional human anatomy. You will be able to apply knowledge from the yoga system as well as from Traditional Chinese Medicine.

You will further cover:

  • Hormones and their role in the body and mind
  • Relationship chakras and endocrine system
  • Motivational psychology in relation to your nervous system
  • Stress and hormonal imbalances
  • Life Stages of Women - from Menarche to Menopause
  • Menstrual Cycle Awareness and hormonal imbalances

This course is suitable for

The module is for anyone with or without yoga experience and background. Previous experience is definitely beneficial and necessary if the module is taken out of motivation to teach Hormone yoga yourself or to use the findings (therapeutically) in one-on-one support. Also, a general interest in psychology, biochemistry, neuroscience, and how the human body works is helpful to understand important connections.

Example Daily Schedule

  • 08:00-10:00 Morning practice based on the topic of the day (menstrual cycle, motivation psychology, stress, and nervous system)
  • 10:00-11:00 Breakfast
  • 11:00-13:00 Theory
  • 13:30-15:00 Lunch
  • 15:00-17:30 Theory
  • 17:30-19:30 Chanting, (self-)acupressure, and meditation
  • 19:30 Dinner

The above is an example schedule, subject to change under the needs of students and the lead teacher. October 9 is the arrival day in the afternoon, dinner will be included. October 13 is the departure day after lunch.

As much as possible they try to choose organic and local, minimizing the use of unsustainable produce in their kitchen. They also work very hard to keep their kitchen minimal waste so they have become experts and re-using and turning leftover food into delicious new interesting dishes.

They are also very excited about their humble vegetable garden and how it will evolve and are looking forward to using herbs and veggies directly from the garden to the cooking pot! Currently, they have tomatoes, cucumbers, spring onions, lettuce, courgettes, aubergines, peppers, spring onions, and melons growing!

Recommended Airports

Arrival by bus

The bus from Barcelona or Barcelona Airport will cost approximately 22 EUR), while from Girona (Girona estació) to Begur around 8,50 EUR.

Arrival by taxi

Nydum can help you arrange a taxi at the cost of 20 EUR (approximately). If you want to visit the beautiful surrounding they suggest you rent a car. They can put you in contact with other guests if you would like to share the costs.
