This 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course is an intensive 4-week retreat created with the aim to give you a solid foundation in yoga. The course will be led by a diverse team of experienced teachers with over 60 years of combined experience in yoga and meditation. Upon successful completion of the training, you will be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT®). Registration with Yoga Alliance, which is recognized globally, and will open many doors for you if you wish to teach internationally.

Course detail

In addition to the daily yoga classes and lectures, they have included a meditation program that will help to increase your mindfulness and enhance the benefits of the yoga manifolds.

You will gain deep knowledge of yoga philosophy, anatomy, and physiology while you experience life on a tropical island in a loving conscious community. The training will take place at an oceanfront venue surrounded by raw tropical nature. You will also get a chance to experience how it feels to eat a variety of healthy and delicious food every day for a whole month!

The course will give you confidence in teaching and a strong self-practice.

The pace of the course will allow those new to yoga to follow the teachings while giving more experienced students ample opportunity to deepen their practice and understanding. Whether a beginner, advanced practitioner, teacher, or someone looking to find a way out of the daily sufferings/struggles that come with the conditioned mind, this course will give you life-changing perspectives.

Location

Koh Phangan Island and particularly the Srithanu area is a hub for yoga and wellness lovers in South-East Asia. You will have plenty of opportunities to explore this paradise island and meet like-minded people from all over the world. The yoga shalas are located on One Yoga Thailand's beachfront resort close to Shrithanu in a quiet, peaceful place surrounded by the natural flora of Koh Phangan, the perfect place for yoga. It is equally close to the main road where many cafes, restaurants, markets, convenience stores, boutiques, and beaches are.

Food

Vegetarian breakfast and lunch is included on all teaching days. For dinner, there are many healthy vegan and vegetarian food options available within minutes from the yoga center serving great good food! Prices range from 4 to 10 USD per meal.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) in Bangkok. From here there are several options:

Flight to Samui Airport (USM)

Between Bangkok and Koh Samui, there are many daily services run by Bangkok Airways. Flying time is about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Samui you need to take a ferry from Koh Samui to Koh Phangan, for about 300 THB one way. Once you arrive at Koh Phangan pick-up taxis are available from the pier. Please inform the taxi to drive you to One Yoga in Srithanu. Taxis are approximately 150 THB per person.

Flight to Surat Thani Airport (URT)

From Bangkok, you can also fly first to Surat Thani Airport (URT). Air Asia flies from Bangkok (DMK) to Surat Thani daily, flying time is about 50 minutes. The transfer from Surat Thani Airport (URT) to Donsak ferry port is by coach or taxi and takes about 90 minutes. Tickets can be bought at the airport. At Donsak, you transfer to the Raja ferry to Koh Phangan, which takes three hours. Whilst the overall journey is longer than flying directly to Koh Samui, it can be cheaper to fly via Surat Thani, depending on the time of year. Once you arrive at Koh Phangan pick up taxis are available from the pier. Please inform the taxi to drive you to One Yoga in Srithanu. Taxis are approximately 150 THB per person.

Arrival by bus

There are many bus services from Bangkok to Koh Phangan. Most of these are sleeper buses. They can be booked from travel agencies in Bangkok or by going to the central bus station (Sia Thai). The journey takes about ten hours to Donsak, the ferry port for boats going to Koh Phangan. From Donsak, the journey takes around three hours to Koh Phangan. Usually, the ferry is included in the price of the bus.

Once you arrive at Koh Phangan pick up taxis are available from the pier. Please inform the taxi to drive you to One Yoga in Srithanu. Taxis are approximately 150 THB per person.

Arrival by train

Trains leave Bangkok several times daily, the journey time is about 12 hours. Sleeping booths are available for some services. Leaving the train at Surat Thani, the transfer by coach or taxi from Surat Thani station to Donsak pier takes about one hour. From Donsak, the ferry journey takes three hours to Koh Phangan. There are two companies that run luxury coach services from Bangkok to Chumphon, which takes about six hours. At Chumphon, you transfer to a large express boat that stops at Koh Tao before arriving at Koh Phangan. The boat journey from Chumphon to Koh Phangan takes about three hours. Once you arrive at Koh Phangan pick-up taxis are available from the pier. Please inform the taxi to drive you to One Yoga in Srithanu. Taxis are approximately 150 THB per person.
