This 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training Course is an intensive 4-week retreat created with the aim to give you a solid foundation in yoga. The course will be led by a diverse team of experienced teachers with over 60 years of combined experience in yoga and meditation. You will learn to teach Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow and will also be introduced to other styles like Ashtanga and Yin/Restorative yoga.

In addition to the daily yoga classes and lectures, they have included a meditation program that will help to increase your mindfulness and enhance the benefits of the yoga manifolds. You will gain deep knowledge of yoga philosophy, anatomy, and physiology while you experience life on a tropical island in a loving conscious community. The training will take place at an oceanfront venue surrounded by raw tropical nature. You will also get a chance to experience how it feels to eat a variety of healthy and delicious food every day for a whole month!
The course will give you confidence in teaching and a strong self-practice. Upon successful completion of the training, you will be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT®). Registration with Yoga Alliance, which is recognized globally, and will open many doors for you if you wish to teach internationally.

This yoga school and training are registered with Yoga Alliance. This means you will receive training that meet their standards for minimum hours for techniques & training, teaching methodology, anatomy & physiology, yoga philosophy and practicum. Upon successful completion of the training, you will qualify for RYT200 certification which is recognized globally.

Paula is an international Yoga Teacher E-(RYT 500), Yoga Teacher Trainer, Movement Educator (MA, SME) and Dancer, who grew up in Lapland, Finland. She is inspired to share the practises and inner work of self-inquiry that have had profound effects in her own life, in which the body-mind is finally free to ungrip and relax into ease and joy.
Co-Founder and teacher at One Yoga, Danny Taylor was born and raised in the Netherlands to English Parents, traveling was part of growing up and he has since been privileged to experience life in many different countries across the world. Due to his universal background, wide range of life experience and being very open minded he is a real people person able to connect deeply with others whatever their background may be. Buddhism, yoga and other natural healing methods including Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Reiki and Chi Nei Tsang have led Danny to where he is today.
Astrid has over 1500+ certified training hours, which include Traditional Hatha Yoga & Meditation, Yin Yoga and Yoga Therapy. Astrid loves to share her passion for Yoga and fascination for what drives us. All her teachings are always in harmony with the students own body, we are all different, and from there she is eager to find possibilities together to learn and evolve, in whichever way the student likes to go! This personal approach and attention is the main aspect you will find in all her teachings.
Originally from Japan, Akari Tamura is a dedicated yogini and a lover of Truth, known for her inspirational style of teaching and self-expression towards healing, love, and empowerment. Akari has a unique way to inspire students all around the world by transmitting embodied wisdom from the heart. Incorporating the vibrational power of spiritual heart through Sankalpa (heart-felt intention) and Bhavana (deepest feeling in the moment), Akari creates and holds a sacred space for student’s both outer-physical and inner-spiritual journey.
George is a student of life and a practitioner of numerous arts in addition to classical Yoga. As an American seeking broader experiences he travelled to Thailand in 2008 to become a yoga teacher, certified through Yoga Elements Studio. He has practiced Hatha Vinyasa Yoga for over 12 years and taught internationally at teacher trainings, retreats, & workshops since 2009 through SEA, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and the USA.
Alex has been studying and practicing yoga since 2000, constantly aiming to realize its essence beyond the physical. He apprenticed with a yoga master, received spiritual initiation and started to teach classes on classical Ashtanga and Bhakti yoga in 2006. Since then Alex is committed to share the knowledge of self-realized yogis along with experience and insights received during his apprenticeship, years of everyday meditations, intense solo retreats, and immersions into a wide range of yogic practices such as jnana-, karma-, raja-, hatha-, tantra-, bhakti-yoga and others.
Koh Phangan Island and particularly the Srithanu area is Yoga hub for South-East Asia. You will have plenty of opportunities to explore this Paradise Island and meet like minded people from all over the world. The yoga shala is located on our beachfront resort close to Shrithanu close and yet still in a peaceful place surrounded by the natural flora of Koh Phangan - the perfect place for Yoga.
Healthy vegan brunch or lunch is included in our course price on all teaching days. There are also many healthy vegan and vegetarian food options are available within minutes from our yoga centre serving irresistibly good food!

Please book your flight to arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) in Bangkok. From here there are several options:
Between Bangkok and Koh Samui, there are many daily services run by Bangkok Airways. Flying time is about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Samui you need to take a ferry from Koh Samui to Koh Phangan, for about 300 THB one way. Once you arrive at Koh Phangan pick up taxis are available from the pier. Please inform the taxi to drive you to One Yoga in Srithanu. Taxis are approximately 150 THB per person.
From Bangkok, you can also fly first to Surat Thani Airport (URT). Air Asia flies from Bangkok (DMK) to Surat Thani daily, flying time is about 50 minutes. The transfer from Surat Thani Airport (URT) to Donsak ferry port is by coach or taxi and takes about 90 minutes. Tickets can be bought at the airport. At Donsak, you transfer to the Raja ferry to Koh Phangan, which takes three hours. Whilst the overall journey is longer than flying directly to Koh Samui, it can be cheaper to fly via Surat Thani, depending on the time of year. Once you arrive at Koh Phangan pick up taxis are available from the pier. Please inform the taxi to drive you to One Yoga in Srithanu. Taxis are approximately 150 THB per person.
There are many bus services from Bangkok to Koh Phangan. Most of these are sleeper buses. They can be booked from travel agencies in Bangkok or by going to the central bus station (Sia Thai). The journey takes about ten hours to Donsak, the ferry port for boats going to Koh Phangan. From Donsak, the journey takes around three hours to Koh Phangan. Usually, the ferry is included in the price of the bus.
Once you arrive at Koh Phangan pick up taxis are available from the pier. Please inform the taxi to drive you to One Yoga in Srithanu. Taxis are approximately 150 THB per person.
Trains leave Bangkok several times daily, the journey time is about 12 hours. Sleeping booths are available for some services. Leaving the train at Surat Thani, the transfer by coach or taxi from Surat Thani station to Donsak pier takes about one hour. From Donsak, the ferry journey takes three hours to Koh Phangan. There are two companies that run luxury coach services from Bangkok to Chumphon, which takes about six hours. At Chumphon, you transfer to a large express boat that stops at Koh Tao before arriving at Koh Phangan. The boat journey from Chumphon to Koh Phangan takes about three hours. Once you arrive at Koh Phangan pick up taxis are available from the pier. Please inform the taxi to drive you to One Yoga in Srithanu. Taxis are approximately 150 THB per person.
