This program is designed to instill the true essence of yogic practices for those who cannot visit places like Rishikesh, Kerala, Mysore, or Dharamshala to attend yoga teacher training due to the world pandemic situation. Pranamaya School of Yoga facilitates the online program for the convenience of those who want to take their teaching dreams to the next level without needing to travel to India. The students can be home with their family and attain expertise in yoga practice and teaching methodologies. The program focuses on Hatha yoga as the main style, in addition to Ashtanga-Vinyasa and Yin yoga styles. Meditation techniques like yoga Nidra, disease management with the yogic approach are also included in the module.
You will need a reliable internet connection and Zoom to participate in the online yoga teacher training.
There will be six hours live sessions over Zoom. The sessions take place from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. IST and 3:30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. IST.
The course comprises the study and practice of yoga asanas, pranayama, mudras, bandhas, yogic cleansing processes, the study of yoga anatomy, and the most important Yoga Sutras. Pranamaya School of Yoga is aimed at training yogis to teach the real aspects of yoga. A yoga teacher must be able to connect and touch the lives of their students in some way. They should be present with positive energy and personality with attention to detail.

Pranayama utilizes the breath for the flow of prana in the nadis. Students will be learning various breathing techniques and their effects on the human mind and body.
Knowledge of yoga anatomy and physiology is the foundation of physical safety. A comprehensive study of major body systems is included in the course in order to understand human physiology and anatomy. This study will help students relate yoga practices in order to keep the body disease-free and healthy.
Students will be introduced to the yogic cleansing methods practiced in traditional hatha yoga.
Meditation is an integral part of yoga practices. Students will be educated about the science behind the guided meditation practices and will also learn how to perform it with their students in the future.
Every yoga student must be familiar with Patanjali's Yoga Sutras. The study of yoga philosophy will make students understand the origin of yoga, its branches, yoga sutras, teachings of Bhagavad Gita, and Indian wisdom.
The study of various techniques and body alignment will give you the knowledge and confidence to teach and help students achieve different asanas. Students will be trained for sequencing the class structure and devise modifications for difficult asanas. This will also guide on connecting with your students and understanding their needs.
