Ananda Cottages, Ubud

Located in the cool tranquil hills just outside the village of Ubud, the Ananda Cottages offer lovely rural view surrounded by lush, fertile rice paddies. Balis natural beauty remains a part at the cottage grounds. Ubud is the perfect place for those who wish to taste the real Bali. Ubud is famous as the artistic and cultural heart of Bali. Make a visit to the art museums to see traditional and modern painting. The cool weather in the hills is perfect for nature walks. The nearby monkey forest has a temple in the midst of a jungle filled with swinging monkeys. Even the market place is a delightful and colorful experience with its bright and typically Balinese crafted stalls. The Ubud people are warm and friendly and many are painters, dancers, musicians, and carvers. All this and more make Ubud one of your most memorable visits in Bali.

Bloo Lagoon, Padangbai

Area often referred to as old Bali. Here, you will find the royal palaces of Klungkung and Karangasem. With its beautiful setting, small, un-spoilt village feel, it must qualify as one of the most attractive port towns in the world. At the northern end of the bay you find the important Pura Silayukti Temple, where Empu Kuturan introduced the system of the castes in the Xl century. Just beyond the temple lies the Blue Lagoon which is actually a small bay, with a white sand beach only a 5-minute walk, from Bloo Lagoon.

During this retreat you will be enjoying healthy, organic and cleansing meals, following the yoga detox diet system for 30 days (breakfast and superfood green smoothie or healthy lunch). Dinner is open each night to allow you to explore the incredible Balinese cuisine options. Pranashama Yoga Institute will give you their best recommendations. Meals are very affordable at a cost of between 3 USD and 10 USD per dinner. This is your chance to go out and have fun in the evenings, if you would like to. If you absolutely do not wish to explore the incredibly diverse and healthy cuisine on this journey, you are welcome to eat dinner at the resort each night and that will be included, no additional cost to you.
