Even if you don't want to teach, your Ashtanga practice will deepen with the tools provided. A team of highly-revered Ashtanga yoga teachers shall take you through a deeply enlightening and invigorating sojourn to becoming an Ashtangi. The program curriculum has been designed in accordance with the fine standards set by the Yoga Alliance while traditional authenticity and expertise are prioritized in the same. With references from traditional texts and yoga Upanishads such as Yoga Korunta and Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Ashtanga Yoga Classes at Rishikul Yogshala gradually unfold in various stages.

All students will live together in the provided accommodation. You will be paired with another student and for a small fee, you can have single occupancy. Every room is en-suite. Facilities to wash and dry clothes and laundry services are available. The Internet is 24 hours, and your room is cleaned daily.

Program

This 200-hour Hatha and Ashtanga yoga teacher training in India is experimental learning, where you come as a beginner and return as an experienced yogi. The training course appreciates different learning styles and helps in developing the essential skills and knowledge for a confident yogi. This course is the first step towards your divine aim of attaining the best in the field of yoga and to be called as a yogi.

The program includes asana practice twice a day, plus an alignment class breath work to clean the energetic body, to awaken kundalini to raise consciousness, meditation to observe the mind and sit with self and the Divine. Puja every morning intention setting. The course provides the correct knowledge to propel forward as you embark on your new career. As a yoga teacher, you will be confident to make safe adjustments, through philosophy teach with the wisdom of Patanjali; to understand the importance of a Satvic diet; and the control of the breath.

This 200-hour TTC will enliven your body and enlighten your mind and spirit with the knowledge and experience of yoga. The yoga teacher training course offers the breakdown study and practice of Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary Series, pranayama, meditation, Kriyas, and alignment and adjustment workshop.

Rishikesh Divine Yoga School is situated in the holy city of Rishikesh, India, in the base of the Himalayas. Rishikesh holds deep cultural and spiritual significance for local Hindus. Sacred rivers and mountains set the scene for yoga and reflective hikes. Rishikesh is a world yoga capital and every year lots of people come to Rishikesh to learn yogic since. There are opportunities to meet yogi, Sadhu and hundreds of temples and ashrams in Rishikesh.

The accommodation is the Ram Jhula. Stunning views of the Himalayas and Ganges provides the perfect sanctuary of peace and love. In the heart of the yoga village, an abundance of shops, restaurants, traditional chai is available everywhere. Beautiful stores, selling sacred gems, fabrics and musical instruments delight the senses. The Beatles Ashram and the famous Parmarth Niketan Ashram are where you can take part in the famous evening ritual of Arti.

Food

During this course, you will be served three daily vegetarian yogic meals. At Rishikesh Divine Yoga School, a healthy and happy life depends on a healthy routine and a balanced diet. The food is carefully supervised and is prepared in a very natural and yogic manner while promoting the use of seasonal vegetables and fruits and avoiding all the artificially prepared edibles.

The cooks will prepare the food with utmost devotion and love and nourish all the layers of your personality.

Often the vegetarian food is vegan as well, and if not, there will always be choices of vegan dishes available for vegan students. Also, in case of food allergies like dairy or gluten allergy, Rishikesh Divine Yoga School can provide enough options to serve foods according to your needs.
