The main five modules of the course include yoga teaching techniques, teaching methodology and yogic lifestyle, philosophy, anatomy, and physiology, as well as practice.
The yoga teaching techniques cover principles such as asana, pranayama, shatkarma, bandhas, mudras, meditation techniques, and mantra and chanting. Asana is the yoga postures, pranayama is the breathing techniques, shatkarma is the cleansing techniques, bandhas is the locking of energy, and mudras is the channeling of energy.
You will also learn the benefits and contraindications of the yoga asanas which are the pranic energy channels of the body, the Pancha koshas (sheath), the five elements of the universe, and the seven chakras.
The objective and aim of this module are to learn the art of teaching as well as the business and marketing aspects of yoga. This is done by cultivating good quality teachings like timing, class planning, the intonation of voice, asana sequence, and the art of adjustment. The trainer will be refining your qualities to teach in small and big groups of students.
The lessons will include the study of anatomy and physiology. The module will focus on general movement and human body terms as well as the systems of the body such as the respiratory system, the muscular system, the endocrine, and the nervous system.

One of the most important and valuable tools for you as a yoga teacher is the tactile correction technique, adjustment. In this training week, you will learn in a structured and tactful manner, how to correct your students. Look forward to a variety of adjustment techniques to many asanas and gain safety and competence for your lessons.
In these training days, you will learn to use the different tools efficiently. Your tone, body language, and content from the previous classes in adjustment, alignment, and Vinyasa will be brought to the fore for you and illuminated. You will learn to stand in front of a group and teach. The last week will consist of the exam days, 120-minutes written exam and practical exams on how to teach a group of students.

Students need to be on time in classes and acquire at least 90 per cent of attendance to achieve the certification. Missing classes, except for emergency cases, needs to be completed. Ajay Uniyal immersed himself in the spiritual life at a very early age and he has been the same since. The guidance of his grandfather made him learn yoga philosophy and Vedanta at the very early age of 11. After that, Ajay joined the Gurukuland practice and studied yoga for four years. From that time, he still continues to go for higher qualifications and he has also gained many awards as well as several years of teaching experience in yoga.
His Holiness Swāmī Nityānanda Giri was born in 1961 in a remote village in Odisha State, India. He has completed his post-graduation studies, MSc in zoology in 1983, and obtained a Ph.D. on the subject in the branch of cytogenetics (genotoxicity) in 1990. He is a revered monk and a master in the tradition of Kriya yoga. He used to teach and initiate seekers to the Kriya yoga meditation techniques in India, and from September 2005 onward, he does so abroad as well to disseminate the knowledge received from the masters of the lineage as a mission. He is presently living in Rishikesh.

Jolly Grant Airport
Please book your flight to arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). You may rent a car or catch a taxi from the airport. You may book another flight to the nearest domestic airport near Rishikesh, which is the Dehradun’s Jolly Grant Airport (DED). Transfer from and to this airport is included. Rishikesh Nath Yogshala will pick you up from the airport.
From Delhi, the city of Rishikesh is about 230 kilometers away and is well connected by buses. A bus journey may take about five to seven hours depending on the traffic and it costs you about 130 to 350 INR. A bus with air conditioning will cost about 250 700 INR. In Rishikesh, there are several travel agencies scattered around Swarg Ashram and Lakshman Jhula that can book luxury buses to common destinations like Delhi, Jaipur, Pushkar, and Varanasi.
A quiet branch line connects Rishikesh to Haridwar, but there are only about three slow trains daily. It is better to take the train to Haridwar and continue by bus from there which will take 45 minutes and costs 30 INR, by taxi it will take 30 minutes and costs 800 INR or by auto-rickshaw taking 40 minutes and 500 INR. However, traveling by train is recommended in peak seasons or during a ‘mela’ (fair) when bus routes are diverted in Haridwar whereas trains often run empty and the fares are low at just 4 INR for a passenger train service.
You can take share rickshaws (vehicle brand name Vikram) towards Lakshman Jhula for 15 INR from Rishikesh station. You will have to cross Ram Jhula to reach Swarg Ashram on the other side of River Ganga. There are many trains from Delhi to Haridwar. Some of the better options are Shatabadi Express, Jan Shatabdi, AC Special Express, and Mussoorie Express.
