Yoga Teacher Training in India (Hatha + Aerial)

Aerial yoga or Sky yoga, or anti-gravity yoga, is a modern yoga that started in the year 2014, combining traditional yoga poses. It's a technique where the practitioner uses their own body weight as a tool to enhance strength, elasticity, body awareness, and physical growth. Throughout the learning of the technique, the classes are divided into positions in which the body is in contact with the ground, and only a part in weightlessness. Rishikesh Yog Kendra believes that anti-gravity practice requires lots of strength and flexibility in muscles.

Program

Training overview

Rishikesh Yog Kendra is a unique destination for all yoga practitioners across the globe, which gives a perfect opportunity to learn traditional yoga styles like Hatha, Vinyasa, Iyengar, and multi-style at one platform. The philosophical approach of your trainers is truly derived from the ancient yoga textbook, scriptures, and Vedas. The course module is designed with a balanced version of yoga asana practices along with its philosophical essence without losing the actual core of traditional yoga.

This Aerial yoga teacher training is a unique combination of traditional yoga with a practice of anti gravitational yoga. This unique teacher training course not only emphasizes ancient traditional Hatha yoga, but also gives the opportunity to train in modern anti-gravitational Aerial yoga.

The anti-gravity yoga structure itself is body and mind depleting, and Rishikesh Yoga Kendra has the ability to make it mellow, nice, and easy for even novice yoga professionals. Aerial yoga is blended with traditional Hatha yoga and anti-gravity poses, which developed yoga specialists on a zenith level. Aerial yoga not only enables the body and mind while learning the skill on the yoga mat, but also on hammocks.

The course curriculum is divided into two parts. The first part is of 200-hour yoga TTC, which is focused on beginner-level teacher’s training. The second part is of 50-hour Aerial yoga teacher training. Thus, the total course hours become 200 hours and 50 hours, with two certifications.

Aerial yoga hall setup

This special type of hammock can support up to 300 kilograms of weight! They consist of carabiners, two support chains, one webbing strap, and silk material. The hammock can hang from a supported ceiling inside. The two support chains hang down to lower the hammock to around one meter from the ground (depending on the user’s height or preference).
