Overall, the whole program was very well thought out with clear intention, knowledge and passion. The three teachers were very knowledgeable and experienced within their specialties (such as anatomy and meditation) as well as approachable and insightful. Particularly, Roberto is a professional in every sense of the word and also a phenomenal teacher and mentor. He knows how to recognise your strengths and encourage you, but also when to not push too hard.
I appreciated the mentality and perspective of this 30 day program as I felt that I was encouraged to listen to my body first and foremost. Having now been home for a few days, I am noticing how many things I have taken from the training and integrated into my own practice/life, in my guidance of yoga to others and even into my work as a nutritionist (I feel I am more patient and able to connect to the human-ness of each person I interact with).
I highly recommend this training program for the program/schedule itself, the incredible teachers and others involved, the 30 day length of time (which allows adequate rest/sleep and a bit of time for yourself), the small group size, the location (so much to see and do- make sure to take a few days before or after to see more of Chiapas), the opportunity to do your own thing regarding food/accommodation/yoga mat to best meet your own needs, and the communication before and during the program that Roberto provides is another strength.
