Rodanthos Yoga Retreat Greece

Thai massage

Thai yoga massage is an ancient practice that lives through a great lineage of teachers and healers. This form of practice is considered to be the most holistic and effective approach to the one who seeks a way in alternative healing. The "sacred dance" of Nuad Boran (Thai yoga massage), is a choreography that combines pressure in acupuncture points, palming across the meridians, stretches and passive yoga postures, intending to restore the energy flow of the body, mind, and spirit.

No prior experience in massage for this training is required, while practitioners of Thai or other form of massage are more than welcome. The workbook will be distributed to all participants. After the evaluation, a certificate from the organization "Thai Healing Alliance" (THAI) will be given to those who will complete the evaluation process successfully.

Included excursions

During the day-off, an excursion in Moni island by boat is included. There you will swim, sunbath, and relax among deers and peacocks.

This retreat will take place in the village of Perdika, island of Aegina, Greece. Aegina, the first capital of modern Greece, is just 40 minutes from Piraeus. Rich in archaeological history and nature, it is a great holiday destination, and whether you explore the island by car, motor scooter, bicycle, or bus, you will find many places to relax, walk, eat, drink and dance, and of course swim, in the crystal clear warm sea.

Perdika village

The villa is situated in the heart of the traditional, picturesque fishing village of Perdika, on the island of Aegina. Perdika is the jewel of the island. A beautiful traditional fishing village whose narrow picturesque streets lead down to the little harbor which is two tiered.

On the upper level of the village there are traditional, fishing tavernas and coffee shops overlooking the sea and the harbor, while on the lower level, there are the piers for the fishing boats and yachts. A small sandy beach provides a safe place to swim, next to another rocky beach with umbrellas and shade. Just a couple kilometers away from Perdika are some of the most beautiful beaches of the island, such as Klima, Aeginitissa, and Sarpa.

Moni isle, with the beautiful small pine forest and the turquoise waters, only 10 minutes by boat, is also another reason to choose Perdika as your holiday destination. Moreover, from Perdika there is the opportunity to hike through remote, unspoiled parts of the island or take a stroll to the old navy area and visit (no entrance fee) the camera obscura.

The village gives a great sense of relaxation and revelry, and whether its swimming, walking, dining or watching the amazing sunsets with a nice cool drink, Perdika is the ideal place.

In your free time, you can enjoy a walk to the little harbor of Perdika, which is lined with traditional fishing tavernas and coffee shops overlooking the sea and the isle of Moni. Nearby the hotel there is a bakery, a supermarket, and a petrol station. On the other side of the villa, you will find the bus station, if you choose to explore the beauty of Aegina. Taxis can also very easily be rented and shared.
