This training takes place at The Seed, a unique space for both individuals and groups to practice, learn and experience magic in an intimate setting. This convenient yet remote location, a peaceful Mayan village in Tzununá, Guatemala, overlooks gorgeous Lake Atitlán.

While attending a yoga teacher training in Guatemala with Sadhana Yoga School, you will meditate together each morning looking out at Lake Atitlan, practice yoga together on the open air deck, engage in meaningful philosophical discussion in a conscious way allowing us to explore the depth of mind and emotion.

What you will learn

Philosophy: Learn the depth of yoga

You will study pranayama, meditation, anatomy, energetic anatomy, chanting, yoga diet, introduction to Ayurveda and yoga, and more.

Asana: Learn to teach yoga

The program will cover the history and how to teach beginner yoga, Hatha yoga, prenatal yoga, kids yoga, yoga for special populations, yoga teaching techniques, yoga sequencing, yoga modifications and adjustments, daily yoga teaching practice, and more. All graduates will also leave the program knowing how to teach two class sequences confidently as soon as you get home!

Transformation: Practice the tools to improve your life

Together, you will learn how to develop your practice, get stronger, learn to relax, work through life changes, inspire, dream, find clarity, uncover the business of yoga.

Once you swim in the waters of Lake Atitlán, hike the bowl that surrounds the lake, engage in intentional practices whole-heartedly, surrounded by a community of hundreds of people doing the same—you will be forever changed. How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at La Aurora Airport (GUA). Airport transfer is a shared shuttle and shared boat, 150 USD total each way, cost divided between the number of students. Please send Sadhana Yoga School your flight information so they can arrange the transportation.
