The outer world can be unpredictable. It's why it's important to have tools to help you master your own inner world. That is exactly what Samyama's teachings are about. This is a profound opportunity for self-growth, personal development, and transformation. Join Samyama and rejoice in simplicity, truthfulness, and the full expression of your own authentic self.
This teacher training course experience is taking place at Samyama Mindfulness Meditation Center. This beautiful venue was born out of a desire for authenticity and a love of non-dual teachings. Meditation and inner work were the seeds. Love and a dedication to service helped to water this dream. The facilities have been purposefully designed to support deep transformation, healing, and integration. Unlike many of the hotels in the area, Samyama was created with meditation and inner work as inspiration.
The entire concept is designed around creating an atmosphere for deep contemplation and healing of the mind, body, and spirit in a quiet, peaceful and supportive environment. Samyama creates a transformational environment where people feel held and supported in doing deep work. Their teachings give you the tools to be a more mindful, conscious, and kind human, living with an open heart. Retreats are often life-changing experiences.
They help you to integrate them so that when you return home, you can seamlessly implement your new lifestyle into a harmonious way of being. Their goal is to inspire and empower everyone to create a happier, healthier life for themselves and others, ultimately contributing to the well-being of this planet and society. Their core values are gratitude, awareness, humility, honesty, mutual respect, joy, integrity, and acceptance.
The shared bunk room sleeps four people. The two single bunk beds include plenty of storage space, with stairs instead of a ladder leading to the top bunk for optimal comfort and safety. There is no en-suite bathroom but the shared bathroom facility is a few steps away and offers private bathrooms and hot showers. Wake up to rice paddy views and beautiful morning sun, meditate under the life cycles mandala and enjoy your inner journey.
Queen rooms are perfect for a couple or a single person. Kamala is themed after the goddess Lakshmi (known as Kamala or Kamalatmika in the tantric tradition) and is imbued with abundance, prosperity, fertility, beauty, and love. Samarasa means 'even essence' and is considered one of the ultimate non-dual states, where all life has the same taste of creation. This room is perfect for the serious seeker of self-realization. Sundari as the 'essence of beauty' has a single bed and is more spacious.
Each meditation corner has a small altar aligned with the theme of the room. Feel free to add to the altar or use the desk to the journal. There are no en-suite bathrooms but the shared bathroom facility is a few steps away and offers private bathrooms and hot showers.
You will stay in Villa Mezzanine, a semi-private shared room with two king-sized beds or a private cottage with a bathroom and kitchenette.
Along the same little road that leads to Samyama, just steps away, are three small cottages. The rooms have a queen-size bed, an en suite bathroom with hot water, a small separate kitchen area, and a nice garden with outdoor seating. The kitchen has a blender, two gas burners, and a decent-sized fridge. They are simple but comfortable, with an air-conditioner and a fan.
Located next to the meditation center is Villa Samyama, a beautiful, private, semi-open-air villa, complete with a pool, a river, and the best views on the property. There are two private bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and one mezzanine bedroom with a bathroom downstairs. This luxurious villa offers privacy while still in alignment with the vision of creating a community.
The room offers a king-size bed, air-conditioning, an ensuite bathroom with an outdoor hot shower and a hot bath, sliding glass doors to a private patio overlooking the river, a large closet, a desk and a separate meditation nook, a private kitchen shared only with other villa guests, and a private pool for villa guests only.
They also offer accommodation options with partnered nearby walking-distance resorts when on-site spaces are all booked.
Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

Everyone has their own unique journey with yoga and meditation. It is not a one-size-fits-all kind of practice. Samyama values the importance of one-on-one attention by keeping the group small, offering each student a teacher or mentor they can go to with questions, and creating a buddy system. The gift of yoga and meditation is so profound that this intensive teacher training course at Samyama may help you to:
Each week you will be taken into the depths of a different and potent meditation technique by empowered teachers. Daily practice of each technique will help you discover which form of meditation works for you best and give you the ability to guide your future students.
You will be trained in major, classical poses of Hatha yoga obtaining a thorough understanding of their physical, energetic, emotional, mental and spiritual effects. Additionally, this course focuses on Vinyasa, Restorative, and Yin practices of yoga with a great emphasis on Tantra yoga addressing the subtle energetic and spiritual effects of the practice.
Our expert teachers will create immersions into anatomy, physiology, and Ayurveda - the sister science of yoga - for you to explore yoga's effects and functioning in your being from a scientific perspective.
You will learn and practice selected techniques from the shatkarma Kriya system. This will assist your bodies in the purification processes that occur during intensive yoga and meditation practice. These techniques are gems that you will want to share with your students.
The 3-day Silent Meditation Retreat mirrors a solitary cave retreat, fostering complete silence and minimal external contact for a profound exploration of the inner world. The group dynamic provides a sense of solidarity, yet each participant enjoys ample space for a personalized journey. Embracing silence as a luxury, the retreat minimizes verbal communication to ease the mind into deep meditative states. Carefully curated daily schedules lead participants gradually into profound meditation and a closer connection with their spiritual hearts. Beyond providing respite from incessant thoughts, the retreat equips participants with practical tools for remembering their most authentic selves, even amid life's challenges. Full attendance in silence is strongly recommended, given the structured progression of sessions.
Our dedicated teachers are passionate about sharing their knowledge and expertise with you. You will develop essential teaching skills, including making adjustments or corrections, delivering effective discourses, and tuning into the needs of both individuals and groups. Additionally, this course aims to expand your perspective on how to turn teaching yoga and meditation into a fulfilling profession.
Besides the core texts of yoga philosophy such as the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita, you will be introduced to tantric texts such as the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra, teachings from Advaita Vedanta, and more. There are so many beautiful and accessible texts that inform and inspire meditation practice.
Seeking a balance of practice, theory, and teaching formation in this program, the course aims to support you in building a solid self-practice, give you a strong understanding of the metaphysics of yoga or meditation, and provide you with the skills to deliver these teachings.
