This teacher training course experience is taking place at Samyama Mindfulness Meditation Center. This beautiful venue was born out of a desire for authenticity and a love of non-dual teachings. Meditation and inner work were the seeds. Love and a dedication to service helped to water this dream.

The facilities have been purposefully designed to support deep transformation, healing, and integration. Unlike many of the hotels in the area, Samyama was created with meditation and inner work as inspiration.

The entire concept is designed around creating an atmosphere for deep contemplation and healing of the mind, body, and spirit in a quiet, peaceful and supportive environment. Samyama creates a transformational environment where people feel held and supported in doing deep work. Their teachings give you the tools to be a more mindful, conscious, and kind human, living with an open heart. Retreats are often life-changing experiences.

They help you to integrate them so that when you return home, you can seamlessly implement your new lifestyle into a harmonious way of being. Their goal is to inspire and empower everyone to create a happier, healthier life for themselves and others, ultimately contributing to the well-being of this planet and society. Their core values are gratitude, awareness, humility, honesty, mutual respect, joy, integrity, and acceptance.

The shared bunk room sleeps four people. The two single bunk beds include plenty of storage space, with stairs instead of a ladder leading to the top bunk for optimal comfort and safety. Wake up to rice paddy views and beautiful morning sun, meditate under the life cycles mandala and enjoy your inner journey.

Mindfulness rooms

Queen rooms are perfect for a couple or a single person. Kamala is themed after the goddess Lakshmi (known as Kamala or Kamalatmika in the tantric tradition) and imbued with abundance, prosperity, fertility, beauty, and love. Samarasa means 'even essence' and is considered one of the ultimate non-dual states, where all life has the same taste of creation. This room is perfect for the serious seeker of self-realization. Sundari as 'essence of beauty' has a single bed and is more spacious.

Each meditation corner has a small altar aligned with the theme of the room. Feel free to add to the altar or use the desk to journal. There are no en-suite bathrooms but the shared bathroom facility is a few steps away and offers private bathrooms and hot showers.

The rooms have a queen-size bed, an en suite bathroom with hot water, a small separate kitchen area, and a nice garden with outdoor seating. The kitchen has a blender, two gas burners, and a decent-sized fridge. They are simple but comfortable, with an air-conditioner and a fan.

Villa Samyama

Located next to the meditation center is Villa Samyama, a beautiful, private, semi-open-air villa, complete with a pool, a river, and the best views on the property. There are two private bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and one mezzanine bedroom with a bathroom downstairs. This luxurious villa offers privacy while still in alignment with the vision of creating community.

The room offers a king-size bed, air-conditioning, an ensuite bathroom with an outdoor hot shower and a hot bath, sliding glass doors to a private patio overlooking the river, a large closet, desk, and separate meditation nook, private kitchen shared only with other villa guests, and a private pool for villa guests only.

We all know how hard it can be to create a consistent spiritual practice. That is why the unique team of three international trainers brings their 25 years of combined teaching experience and 5000+ hours of certified Yoga Alliance education to ensure your success.

Samyama Mindfulness Meditation Center cares about the deep need to belong to a community where you can create authentic and lasting connections. What makes this TTC special?

Outstanding teachers

The teachers are dedicated and accomplished yogis/yoginis. They all have a solid background in yoga and meditation, and regular personal practice. They will share their diverse gifts and skills with you from an authentic and heart-centered place of service.

A venue created by practitioners for practitioners

The beautiful venue, Samyama Mindfulness Meditation Center, was born out of a desire for authenticity and a love of non-dual teachings. Meditation and inner work were the seeds. Love and a dedication to service helped to water this dream. The facilities have been purposefully designed to support deep transformation, healing, and integration.

The unique location is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by jungle and rice fields in a tropical paradise. It is only a 5-minute drive to town but you will feel far away from the hustle and bustle.

Amazing healthy meals

Eat.Co Bali is all about wholesome, fresh, colorful, plant-based food made from scratch right here in its compassionate kitchen. They offer predominantly organic, locally sourced food and care deeply about the planet and all life forms on it.

Carefree, all-inclusive packages

From the moment you step off the plane in Bali, our friendly and trustworthy drivers will be there to greet you and transport you to Samyama. You will feel supported with a plant-based diet, designed especially for this journey. Samyama’s massage therapist, steam sauna, ice bath, and other Healing Center perks are available when you need some extra care. The staff and teachers take pride in the warm family vibe we create, where everyone feels well taken care of.

The yoga capital of the world

Ubud, Bali has become one of the top destinations for yoga and spirituality. The local Balinese Hindus live their practice through a strong belief in karma and acts of devotion – offering to the gods on a daily basis. Ubud translates into ‘medicine’ and has always been a holy center for healing and purifying. It is hard not to feel the strong, yet nourishing energy – like a warm embrace – from mama Bali.

One-on-one attention

Everyone has their own unique journey with yoga and meditation. It’s not a one-size-fits-all kind of practice. We value the importance of one-on-one attention by keeping our group small, offering each student a teacher/mentor they can go to with questions, and creating a buddy system.

The curriculum is designed in accordance with Yoga Alliance standards. Upon completion of the course, you will receive accreditation as an RYS 300/500-hour teacher.

Why Samyama Mindfulness Meditation Center

  • The instructors live their practice; a mindful life in service to others
  • The team is there for you through anxiety, physical pain, or deeper spiritual dilemmas
