Program

Santhi Yoga International Teacher Training and Research Foundation is a unit of Santhi Yoga Charitable Society. The institution focuses on promoting yoga at national and international levels by developing a team of well equipped, disciplined, and dedicated yoga teachers. The course is unique as it offers students the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the study and practice of classical Hatha yoga while experiencing daily life in a highly spiritual atmosphere.

The retreat is based on the ancient traditional system in which the students live with their teachers. It is intensive and requires a tremendous amount of discipline as students not only learn the theory and philosophy of yoga but also practice asanas, pranayama, yogic kriyas, and meditation on a day to day basis as the aim of the program is to encompass the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of yoga.

The gives a comprehensive knowledge in all aspects of yoga as well as the keys to living a healthy lifestyle mentally, physically, and spiritually for anyone ready to take their yoga practice to a deeper and more meaningful level or teach others about the wonderful benefits of yoga. In keeping with the ancient yogic tradition, students will be encouraged to take part in spiritual practices such as mantra chanting, Karma yoga, Vedantic studies, and meditation.

This teacher training program will be conducted in beautiful Hosana Mount Heritage home at Edamattom, near Bharananganam in Kottayam district, a beautiful complex completely made in wood in accordance with the Kerala architecture (Vastu) in the luxury of nature, spreading over 10 acres of land with greenery all over.

It is a unique and ideal center for the study and practice of yoga as a divine discipline. A library consisting of more than 15,000 books, a beautiful swimming pool, and beautiful landscapes are some of the other attractions of the Hosana Mount Campus.
