Yin Yoga, a blend of ancient Chinese medicine and Taoist principles, emerged in the U.S. in the 1980s. It focuses on opening energy pathways and restoring flow by targeting connective tissues and engaging the mind. Unlike more dynamic yoga styles, Yin Yoga involves holding poses for extended periods, encouraging a deep connection with one’s feminine energy and the nervous system through mindful breathing. The 300-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training is open to yoga teachers seeking to expand their skills, dedicated practitioners wishing to deepen their understanding, wellness professionals wanting to incorporate Yin Yoga into their practices, and beginners eager to explore its benefits. No prior experience in Yin Yoga is required, but a basic understanding of yoga principles and a commitment to personal growth are helpful.
