Shri Kali Ashram offers two types of rooms which are natural bungalows and hotel-style accommodation. They are available on first-come-first-served basis.

All rooms include a private bathroom, and a porch or balcony. The nature huts are always for a single person or a couple. Rooms include bedding, but guest provides their own toiletries and towels. Single rooms are given as default whenever available.

Shri Kali believes in private rooms for students but to meet demand during high season we may at times request students to share a room with one other guest. As an ashram, their core mission is to share Traditional Tantra Yoga with all genuine seekers.

The price listed is per person.

The system of Traditional Tantra Yoga intelligently guides students to perform higher-level asanas with ease in a short time. With the distinctive methods of traditional teaching, this level of expertise is developed fluidly without risk of injury.

When the Prana system is understood and utilized efficiently in yoga, practitioners will find they can make quantum leaps in their progress, and not become stuck in a routine of striving through countless repetitions just to make minor progressions.

The modern world of yoga has lost its understanding of the deeper aspects of asanas and tries to make up for it by pushing harder. Counterintuitively, by letting go of all striving (which becomes possible through unique meditative tantric techniques), traditionally taught yogis achieve remarkable results.

During your course, you’ll first be given the time to deeply experience the practices for yourself. Then, out of your own genuine experience and guided by our teachings, you’ll learn to authentically share this powerful system with others.

Shri Kali Ashram's yoga system includes over 50 asanas which together bring about complete and wholesome body culturing by balancing the subtle energy system (prana/the three doshas as defined in Ayurveda).

Seven weeks used wisely enables you to experience deeply and gain understanding to share this tradition as a competent and confident teacher.

Shri Kali Ashram produces purposeful, high quality teachers from all different backgrounds. It does not matter where you earned your 200 hours. We can build organically upon your prior experience.

Shri Kali trained teachers are distinctive because of the depth of experience they can inspire in within their students due to mastering the traditional teaching techniques. Students love to be guided in this way because they are respected, are able to both relax and enjoy themselves deeply throughout the entire class.

In a world inundated with fitness fads the business of yoga has become very competitive and teachers must have advanced skill sets to be able to make a successful career of teaching yoga. True high-quality traditional teaching is actually in the highest demand, and always will be.

This 300 hours program is available for anyone who has already completed a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher Training Course™ in order to reach the 500-hour level. Your 200 hours may have been with Shri Kali or any other Yoga Alliance® accredited school.

Course description

By participating in this course, you can build upon your previous experience, expand and deepen your personal integration, skill, knowledge, and teaching capacity.

In this 300-hour course, Shri Kali Ashram are sharing far beyond just a teacher training program and a physical development system, they will also teach you to have a Tantra Yoga lifestyle and worldview which provide you immunity to the toxic confusion, stress, and anxiety which erodes health in the long term.

The courses build a thorough understanding of all aspects of Shaiva-Shakta Tantra and Yoga. These courses lead to a complete personal practice and allow one to share this tradition as a tantric teacher.

Shri Kali Ashram introduces Trika Shaiva philosophy and yogic philosophy of Patanjali and Bhagavad Gita. They encourage students to come for a long-term study of Shaiva-Shakta Tantra (Kaula system) in order to experience life to the fullest.

You can vary your course length depending on your schedule. If you have a limited time, you can earn your certification in one week less, but if you have extra time, you are welcome to deepen your learning for an additional week after the completion of your course.

The training is intensive and continuous, but during the fourth week in the middle of your course, the daily schedule will be temporarily reduced to allow time for greater rest, deeper integration, and pursuing your personal areas of interest.

After the 21st of each month, we reduce our daily schedule but continue to have at least one long class each day in order to deepen many aspects of what you have been learning. The rest of the day is free to allow time for more relaxed study, developing your personal practice, rest, and integration while living in our community.

After three weeks of full day intensive classes, ongoing students always find this a valuable time to reset and reflect. On the first day the second month, you will resume the full daily schedule for three more weeks of your course. You may choose to extend your course into for a fourth week in the second month (or more). Or if you have a limited time, it is possible to complete the 300 hours requirement in one month and two weeks.

Students starting in one program are also welcome (and often do) extend to a longer-term programs. Because Shri Kali Ashram continually operate as an ashram, they provide a space for all seekers that want to transform their life culture into one that is very positive and holistic through the practices of traditional Tantra Yoga. Many students return year after year and consider Shri Kali Ashram another home.
