Classical Hatha yoga

At Shwaasa, you will gain the foundation knowledge of classical Hatha yoga and its asanas for the unification of the opposites.

Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga

The eight-limbed Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga practices are carried out in the same manner as taught by K.Pattabhi Jois.

Kundalini yoga

Awaken the dormant Kundalini and spirituality within the regular classes of primary stage Kundalini practices.

Pranayama series

Pranayama refers to the expansion of the breath. In this, you will learn the various yogic breathing techniques to improve the quality and flow of prana within the body.

Meditation series

Mantra yoga

The Shwaasa Yoga Ashram is the vision of Shwaasa Guru, Swami Vachananand Ji. The ashram is established in Bangalore and is approved by the government of Karnataka. Shwaasa offers yoga teacher training programs, yoga retreats, conducts yoga classes and yoga therapy sessions, in order to bring the authentic wisdom of yoga to the doorsteps of the common man and woman.

All the courses and sessions are guided by the Shwaasa Guru in a spiritual manner for the uplift of humanity in an economical setting.


Fresh, Sattvic, and appetizing food is served thrice a day at Shwaasa during the 200-hour yoga teacher training course. Each serving of the meal is enriched with vital nutrients and vitamins required for nourishment. The delicacies are cooked in Ayurveda style by the Indian connoisseurs and are served with pure love.

Arrival by airplane

Karnataka is served by two International nearby Airports, namely: Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore and Mangalore International Airport in Mangalore. Once you arrived at the airport, you can hire a cab or take the bus to the center. You can also alight at Panjim Airport and reach the center by bus or taxi.

Arrival by rail

Both the center locations - Harihara and Bangalore are well connected with all Indian cities by rail route.

Arrival by bus

There are buses run from all the major South Indian cities to Bangalore and Harihara. There is an all-weather road connects these two cities to the rest of the country.
