30 Days International Yoga Teacher Training in Austria

Yoga Teacher Training in Austria

The goal of this program is to train inspiring and qualified yoga teachers who are able to draw on their own practice and self-discipline in imparting the yoga experience to others. The direct contact with experienced teachers becomes a part of the daily life of the student during the course. The yoga teachers training course is taught by Yoga Acharyas, who were trained personally by Swami Vishnudevananda. Each year over 1,000 graduates are trained worldwide. The Eco-Hotel

The Sivananda Yoga Retreat House has worked closely for many years with Alexandra and Florian Pointner, the proprietors of the ecological hotel across from the retreat house. This has allowed us to offer our guests a wholesome and nutritious vegetarian dietary program.

The entire hotel operation has been certified by Austria-Bio-Garantie, Austria's leading inspection body for organic businesses. It was awarded the European eco-label as well as Austria's gastronomic accolade "Grne Haube" for whole-grain and natural cuisine.

The Pointners have been running their farm according to organic and ecological guidelines since 1995. They grow various fruits (such as apples and berries) and, since 2009, they have been cultivating an array of vegetables and herbs which are prepared fresh daily in the hotels kitchen.

All guest rooms have wooden floors, health mattresses, shower, toilet, hairdryer and telephone. Most rooms have a balcony. The hotel uses ecological power, pellet heating and a solar hot water system. The hotel offers both Finnish and low temperature saunas and free parking. Internet access and a laundry service are available at an additional cost.

Sivananda Guesthouse

Should the hotel be fully booked, we can offer you accommodation in the Sivananda Guesthouse, at 5 minutes walking distance from the Retreat House. The Guesthouse has a contemplative atmosphere, garden, sun terrace and meditation room and shared shower and toilet facilities on each floor. In this case meals will be served either at the eco hotel or at the Sivananda Guesthouse.
