There are five available rooms on the property, hosting 13 people comfortably with two or three people in each room. Each of the rooms has a private bath, air conditioning, full or queen size bed, twin bed, and lockboxes. There is one additional room, with air conditioning and private bath, available for retreat groups to maximize group size, and have their own staff room.

The property has a rancho right along the beach where you can relax in a hammock, watch surfers, sit and read a book, and enjoy your morning coffee. Additional areas include a space for massages, a yoga studio, and a slack line. Furthermore, high-speed Wi-Fi is available and theres a bookshelf filled with books and movies to help you stay entertained, should you need it.

During the training period students will be practicing yoga, practice teaching, participate in discussions, studying yogic philosophies and mantras, and learning how to teach a yoga class. The training will not only help you deepen your yoga knowledge and practice, but for those desiring to teach, it will give you a solid foundation of yoga asanas, modifications, and assists.

This training will enable you to understand the constitution of the body and its movements while featuring eight hours of David Bercelis world famous Trauma Release Exercise (TRE) and a 20 hour workshop on Thai yoga massage. These combined practices will help you learn to manage your mind and emotions for the continued spiritual journey that yoga will take you and your students on.

This training will take place at SOLID Surf and Adventure compound, in El Transito, Nicaragua. Staying at the compound, you will experience the best of Nicaragua while feeling at home, and you can focus on surfing, relaxing, and enjoying your stay. With a staff filled of locals and a bi-lingual emergency responder guide, they provide a safe and authentic experience in Nicaragua.

The SOLID compound is within walking distance of four of the most consistent and un-crowded surf breaks in the Central Pacific region of Nicaragua. While most of the time you can stay in El Transito as theres not much incentive to leave a non-crowded fun break with multiple types of waves, you have access to four more breaks within a 20 minutes drive and a world class barrel just 50 minutes away, should the conditions and your skill level allow you to use them.

  • Review by Vincent L.

"Amazing surf spot in El Transito. Not crowded at all in the water and lots of different surf spots to play with. The surf is not really for beginners however; therefore I would recommend the place for more intermediate and advanced surfers. Jhon and Allison, who are simply awesome, give really good advice on where to go. The food is also amazing. There is no fixed schedule, which is convenient with surfing. I strongly recommend SOLID if you're a passionate surfer. You will surf a lot."

"I and four friends were looking to get out of the US, find some waves, experience some Latin American culture, and we read the reviews for SOLID and couldn't have been happier choosing this place and location in paradise. We surfed epic waves every day, the offshore winds and surf spot right our front of SOLID could not have been better. The SOLID Surf compound right on the water was the most cozy, inviting, comfortable oasis anyone could ask for. The daily meals were incredible including my favorite, the home blended fruit juices every morning which were so damn delicious. We climbed volcanoes and boarded down, we caught some fish on one of the local Panga boats including a boat trip to a secret surf spot that was firing, and partied in Managua. SOLID has everything imaginable to offer and I'm already planning a return trip with a bigger group. I can't wait to go back!"

"My girlfriend and I were planning a surf trip to Nicaragua on a suggestion from a friend. Fortunately, the camp that she suggested was closed for the month of September. That camp recommended that we contact SOLID to see if they had any availability and I think that says it all. SOLID is so well run and has such a good reputation that is recognized as a place that other camps can feel comfortable referring clients to. Alison and the staff go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable."

"SOLID Surf is straight up incredible. Located right on the beach in front of a fantastic break, Allison and Jhon, know how to do it right. The food is amazing, the lodge grounds are beautiful, and the staff is friendly. El Transito is a small but special community in Nicaragua and SOLID Surf is actively engaged in supporting the community and its development in a responsible way."

"SOLID Surf camp is amazing. Located in a remote fishing village with great surf, empty lineups, friendly people, and some of the best food I've ever had in my life. SOLID Surf took care of us from the moment they picked us up at the airport, making sure we were always getting the best waves; we were well fed and always relaxed. If you're looking into taking a trip to Central America, do yourself a favor and book a trip with SOLID Surf."

"I can't say enough good things about SOLID Surf Adventure and their crew. Best surf trip I've ever taken. Closest beach to airport in Managua, there are three great breaks within walking distance and a bunch of beach breaks right out front, 20 minutes from a good big wave spot, and an hour away from a world class left point. Those are just the great surfing aspects. They also host yoga retreats, volunteer trips, and they can do all of the excursions you and your group wants to go on. The food is amazing, three meals per day, and the staff really take care of you. Like I said, can't say enough good things about them and what they do."

"To start off, if you are going to Nicaragua, go to SOLID Surf! Allison and Jhon had us covered from the airport to the surf breaks. The food was top notch. The housing was a dream. The waves were just steps away from SOLID and were perfect. What more could you ask for."

"SOLID Surf over delivered during my stay. Allison, Jhon, Elijah, and the entire SOLID Surf crew were amazing. The camp sits directly on a fantastic un-crowded surfing beach with awesome tide pools. I felt so relaxed there. Also, when I wanted to explore nearby beaches, SOLID organized that. The best part, besides the beach front view, it the small family feel the place has. You really feel at home here."

"Working in New York City, I was looking for a tropical getaway that would marry both sunshine and my interest in surfing. Between Allison, Jhon, and their staff, I had by far one of the best vacations of my life in Nicaragua. The food was incredible, the grounds and accommodations were top notch. I could go on and on about this place. Whether you're an advanced surfer or just learning for the first time, the SOLID team is great at catering to all levels of surfing experience.Of particular note, if you're not that big into surfing but are interested in just giving it a try, there are still many things you're able to do other than surfing. Even if it's just reading a book with a rum drink in a hammock overlooking the beach. Definitely check it out!"

"I came down here with a group of friends for a week at the end of March. I didn't know what to expect having never been to Nicaragua, but I was pleasantly surprised. SOLID Surf, although somewhat remote, is a tropical oasis run by knowledgeable and friendly staff who knows all the ins and outs of surfing. As a beginner surfer, I was given a great balance between one-on-one attention by one of the owners, Alison, and free time to surf on my own, using the hotel's surfboards, which were great. The atmosphere there was so relaxed though, I felt completely satisfied just chilling in the hammocks listening to the ocean all day. We also went on two excursions, to Leon and Granada, which were fantastic and gave me a taste of what this country's culture is all about.Last but not least, the food was the best. It was so incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection by their in-house chefs. I am still craving their delicious grilled fish!"
