Join Molly Warner and Eli Kaiser for a training experience in Galiano Island that you will never forget. Surround yourself with forest and be close to the whispers of the ocean, all while becoming a 200-hour certified yoga teacher. Grow your practice, deepen your knowledge, and expand your world to include giving the gift of yoga to others as a teacher.
You will be camping in a tent on the land. The accommodation itself is located on 2.5 acres of sacred land. The accommodation is basic but you will be provided with everything you need to be comfortable and happy!
In this teacher training, Eli and Molly will take you beyond the basic teacher training to include an in-depth study of the energy body. Learn how to successfully work with the energy of your chakras to stay grounded as a teacher and space holder, and to be able to offer more healing to your students in every class. This will give you a powerful edge in the teaching world!
You will also learn how to design and facilitate your own workshops (rarely found in other trainings!) and will be given lots of opportunity to teach. Grow your practice, deepen your knowledge, and expand your world to include giving the gift of yoga to others as a teacher.
Soul Ascension School of Yoga & the Healing Arts teaches in the traditional yogic methodology, which views Yoga as a lifestyle, a science, and an art. They combine a detailed and in-depth study of modern asanas (postures) with rich and colorful history and philosophy, as well as the lifestyle of Yoga that offers balance and peace for life “off the mat.” Students will learn, practice, and teach a wide range of yoga postures, fully grasping sequencing in Hatha and Vinyasa flows. There is ample opportunity to deepen your understanding of Prana (life-force energy), healing, and spirituality, woven into the course with anatomy, sequence and breath, all in a space that offers the multi-faceted teachings of Yoga while honoring and respecting all religious backgrounds and beliefs.
Learn how to live fully and artfully in every moment, heal your life and others lives, let go of attachments and false beliefs, and rise up into your fullest self. True yoga (meaning “union,”) teaches you to expand your consciousness and live in a higher vibrational life of beauty, presence, grace, and bliss. With additional focus in Energy Healing and how to apply it directly to the work and life of a Yoga Teacher, as well the option of a Raw, Vegan or Gluten Free meal plan during your learning experience, this is truly an opportunity to shake off what you are ready to leave behind in order to transform into the Empowered You.
This special training offers an option to add-on a Permaculture Certification! Together you will learn how to work the land, in flow with Mother Nature Herself!

There is an optional Permaculture Design Certification plus Practicum you can add to your course before or after the training, as it takes place on May 21 - June 3, 2017. Upon completion of the course, you will receive certification through the Soul Ascension School of Yoga and the Healing Arts, a registered yoga school (RYS) and approved for Yoga Alliance RYT-200 registration.
Molly has been living the practice of yoga for the past 12 years and has a passion for guiding the awakening wild spirit. She focuses on all aspects of yoga: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual and brings these facets together to create a meditative space where you can dive into the depths of yourselves. She has specialty training in Yin and Kundalini yoga, while also loving and working with the transformative fires of Vinyasa. She is a dynamic facilitator, guiding her students to make their own discoveries and realize their own true nature, one of infinite capacity.
Eli has been working to help others on energetic, emotional, spiritual, and physical levels since he was a child and has devoted his life full time to this practice. Yoga is a beautiful medium to work with as a healing system and has been a large part of his own healing journey. He is an experienced registered yoga teacher and teaches workshops and courses that give registered yoga teachers continuing education credits with Yoga Alliance. Through his intuitive training courses, he offers students teachings in energy healing, shamanism, and ceremony.
This retreat will take place in the beautiful Galiano Island, off the coast of British Columbia, Canada. It’s an island atop crystals such as amethyst, garnet, and quartz, drawing in spiritual people from around the world and helping to open the mind, the heart, and the soul. Galiano Island is a land of magic, of deep healing, and is a place that encourages the expansion of your spirit.

You will be served three meals per day - local and organic where possible and vegan, gluten free, or raw when desired.
The island is home to a thriving community of artists, musicians, poets, and craftspeople whose work captures the beauty and spirit of Galiano. Art tours are available and festivals are being held frequently.
Montague Harbor marine provincial park is a gulf islands favorite, unique for its shell beach, covered with saltwater-smoothed shells. You can camp at Montague Harbor campground. Locals love Dionisio point provincial park at the north end of the island. Ask one for the way to Coon Bay, where you'll find a sandy beach, tidal pools, and fantastic sandstone formations.
On a major migration path, Galiano sees over 150 species of birds throughout the year. Prime bird-watching spots are the Active pass, Montague Harbor provincial park, the Bluffs, Bellhouse park, Dionisio point park, and Bodega ridge.
Eating well isn't a new trend on Galiano. It's a way of life. From haute cuisine to comfort food, wine festivals to sustainable farming, visitors can enjoy the good food all year round.
Galiano is hiker heaven, with a number of maintained trails throughout the island. Bodega ridge provincial park rises to a hundred meters above sea level for views of the gulf islands and the Olympic peninsula. Mount Galiano is the highest point, offering views of the San Juan islands and the distant mainland mountains. Take a trail map and your camera.
The Galiano golf and country club has a meticulously maintained a nine-hole course, as well as a licensed restaurant. Tennis enthusiasts of all levels can bring your racket and rally away a sunny afternoon on the wooden court behind Galiano school.
Galiano's shoreline is home to seals, sea lions, otters, and more. Let an expert guide your eco tour, or rent a kayak and discover the island's marine life at your own pace. Whale watching ramps up in active pass from May to October.
You can go to the top of mount Galiano and have a magnificent picnic.
Many home-based and commercial businesses make Galiano virtually a self-sustaining neighborhood. Islanders’ supporting island businesses is the goal the Galiano's Chamber of Commerce.
The island is 27.5 kilometers from tip to tip, making mopeds, scooters, and bicycles popular ways to get around. Venture up to the north end and cap off an exhilarating ride with a breathtaking view.
