Discussion on launching a successful Suspension Yoga™ program for children and families.
When you observe children at play, it is easy to see how you once behaved as human beings a long tie ago, swinging by your arms through trees, hanging upside down by your knees, doing cartwheels, and somersaults.
Sadly, once children begin attending schools and are forced to sit for lengthy periods of time on hard chairs at poorly designed desks or carry heavy backpacks home every day and spend hours hunched over computer monitors, this joy-filled freedom of movement gives way to onset of postural problems. Loss of flexibility results in a reduction in mobility; these conditions continue to deteriorate more rapidly as the body matures, eventually resulting in chronic back issues in adulthood.
Fortunately, due to the fact that children’s skeletal systems aren’t fully set until age 12, most of these effects can be easily and quickly reversed when Suspension Yoga™ is introduced.
