The rooms at Cosmos ll are all in true western-inspired ashram style; small, simple but very clean and comfortable. And The Peaceful Warriors hope you will find there is everything you need for when you are not busy with the training or out and about exploring Canggu and Bali. The Peaceful Warriors offers both triple shared, twin shared rooms, and private rooms at Cosmos Oasis where the trainings take place.

Certifications

The course/hours count as Continuing Education hours for Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®) only.

During the prenatal portion, you will learn all about how to nurture and guide women throughout their pregnancy, what to expect during each trimester, how to modify poses for pregnant women, how to modify group classes for pregnant women, meditations, and pranayamas for pregnant women, safety and precautions, and more!

During the postnatal section, you will go through a timeline of when to re-introduce each aspect of yoga, how to teach a mom (or dad) and baby yoga class, how to engage with and include the baby in a yoga class, how to teach postnatal yoga for just the mother, how to sequence a class for postnatal women, and more!

This training is not just for yoga teachers, but for anyone who wants to deepen their knowledge about post and prenatal yoga; midwives, nurses, personal trainers, or if you’re pregnant or trying to become.

  • Anatomy: the mothers' changing body throughout pregnancy and post-pregnancy
  • Ayurveda: how to use this ancient science during pregnancy and post-pregnancy to bring women back into their natural state of balance
  • Trimester guide: how to modify the yoga practice during each trimester
  • Situations that may arise during each trimester and how to be prepared for them as a teacher
  • Post-pregnancy guide: week by week guide of how/when to reintroduce all parts of yoga
  • Mom (or dad) and baby yoga
  • Pranayama and meditation: beneficial pranayamas and meditations for pre and postnatal women
  • Sample sequences to use while teaching
  • Safety: things to include and avoid pre and post-pregnancy
  • Practice teaching: all students will have the opportunity to practice teaching pre and postnatal yoga

Please note that there will be two evenings where you will have activities: a kirtan, and a sound-healing session after regular course hours. The course will begin at 4 p.m. on May 31, and finish at 11 a.m. on June 6.

The training will take place in the facilities of Cosmos Oasis Shala II. Cosmos Oasis Shala II is a western-inspired yoga ashram where cool, contemporary design meets functional simplicity and comfort.
