The accommodation is on-site and shared between yogis. There are no more than two persons (same-sex) to a room. In the main house, there are shared accommodations for six students. One with a communal bathroom with bath and separate shower, toilet, and hand-basin. One is an en-suite room with a separate shower, toilet, and hand-basin.

The apartment sleeps two, one with a shared shower room, toilet, and hand-basin. The separate en-suite room for two also has a shower, toilet, and hand-basin.

It's a matter of first come first served regarding allocation, but the main house is the communal and study area.

TK Yoga Retreat's groups are small and personal with a maximum of six people. The accommodation is shared predominately in the main house. There will be no more than two persons sharing a room. However, they do have additional accommodation situated on the premises. You will not be expected to share a room with a member of the opposite sex.

Build on your 200-hour teaching to advanced teachings with TK Yoga Retreat's 500-hour teaching certificate. You will be required to keep a journal of your additional hours teaching and studying. Please be prepared to make written observations and to complete more written work and modules during your 500-hour yoga teacher training.

You will be expected to have a clear understanding of your learned core values from TK Yoga Retreat's 200-hour teachings and to attend their workshops or training days and to stay at their retreat venue in South West France during retreat weeks.

More emphasis is placed on self-reflection, deeper understanding, and motivation during your 500-hour training. Be aware that this is an intense course. Your teaching assessments and skills will be quantified by TK Yoga Retreat's observation and awareness of their principal and ethics of the "Best Possible Practice".

Completing the Core Elements will be credited towards attaining 1000 hours.

As follows, there are six main lessons to be covered and cross-referenced. The schedule includes practical and self-directed learning and may not run concurrently.

Use a simple debate to argue the good points of vegetarian / vegan diets against traditional meat and two veg daily diet. No word length.

Saint-Gervais-sur-Mare is a medieval village set in the mountains. As the name suggests, the river that flows through the village is the Mare. Saint-Gervais-sur-Mare is famous for its history in tin mining and chestnut harvesting in times past and is on the way of St James pilgrims path to Santiago de Compostela.

TK Yoga Retreat is nestled behind ancient stonewalling and is quiet and private. There are many beautiful walks and rivers close by you can borrow free cycles from the village information center. There are also bars close by, a pizzeria, The L'Ortensia restaurant, post office, Drs Surgery, and pharmacy. TK Yoga Retreat has one small shop and a bakery. You can visit a small market on Wednesdays. You can find larger shops and weekly markets in the nearby market town of Lamalou-les-Bains.


You will be provided nourishing whole foods, locally available foods, and organic sourced fruit and vegetables throughout your stay.

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Béziers Cap d'Agde Airport (BZR). Transfer from and to the airport is included. TK Yoga Retreat will pick you up from the airport. You can also book your flight to arrive at Montpellier–Méditerranée Airport (MPL). Transfer from and to this airport is available upon request for an additional fee of 90 GBP.

Arrival by train

TK Yoga Retreat also offers a free collection and return transfer from Beziers train station. The rail links and bus transfers are really inexpensive so for those traveling from other airports, it is recommended to use the train to Beziers and/or the bus to Bedarieux.
