This teacher training takes place in Dhyan Mandir ashram. It is located a couple of kilometers from Rishikesh away from all noise and traffic and close to the holy Ganga river. Dhyan Mandir is a beautiful ashram with two yoga halls (one is a white Dom) in a big garden with flowers and many trees. There is free Wi-Fi access, a hot shower, and a filtered drinking water system. There are private rooms and shared rooms, some of them have AC. The rooms are clean and have Western toilets and a wardrobe. Bedsheets, blankets and pillows are also provided for you. A washing machine is available for free whenever you need to do your laundry.
Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

In the teacher training course, you will be provided with yoga conceptual knowledge in such a manner that you can adapt and practice it in your day-to-day life without disturbing your regular schedule.
Throughout the yoga teacher training course you are offered three yogic meals, filtered water, and tea. There will be 23 days with instruction, and the last day will be the yoga certification ceremony.
The purpose of mantra chanting in yoga is to generate vibrations and connect with the universe. Each mantra has its unique vibration.

There will be assistance with the asanas and enough space for alignment. The focus is on Hatha yoga, partly on Ashtanga Yoga and there are Vinyasa and Yin Yoga classes as well. Pranayama is an ancient yogic breathing technique that is used as preparation for meditation and is a vital aspect of practicing yoga. It improves the respiratory system and purifies the body and mind. Pranayama topics include an introduction, aspects of pranayama, different types of prana and types of yogic breathing.

The practice of mudra is an ancient facet of yoga. Performing gestures affects the energy flow of the body and can change a person's spiritual and mental characteristics. This will cover Jnana mudra, Chin mudra, Yoni mudra, Bhairava mudra, Shambhavi mudra, Nasikagra, Khechari, and Kaki.
Meditation is a systematic practice that promotes physical, mental, and emotional tranquillity. It increases the vital energy in the body and gives you more aliveness, good blood circulation, and a relaxed nervous system. This will cover breathing awareness meditation, AUM (Om) or mantra meditation, trataka, kirtan, tips for developing concentration, and silence practice.
When a yoga practitioner moves through the various internal states of Yoga Nidra, a profound experience of relaxation occurs. This is called "turiya," a sensation of pure bliss. This will cover basic relaxation, tension relaxation, and full-body relaxation.
Yogic cleansing exercises are important to learn how to incorporate your breath and meditate properly during the physical aspects of yoga. It also removes the blockages in the energy channels. This will include rubber-neti (cleansing nostrils with a rubber cathedral), rubber-neti complete with jalaneti and kapalbhati, trataka (concentration practice), and kapalbhati or cleansing the lungs.
You will learn about the five elements and how to use them to detoxify your body and mind. Mud, water, and air (breathing) therapy will be practiced and there are teachings about how to increase fire and ether element in life.
Emotional detoxification techniques are a combination of removing knots in the body through pressing points, breathing techniques, release through sound and laughter, and meditation. It is a three-day program and very effective to release the effect of emotions and other toxins in the body.
Students will learn the theory of this and practice on each other. You will learn how to see in the body if and where there is imbalance and what kind of imbalance, for example in the feet and in the shoulders. And what can be done with certain techniques like pressure points and breathing to bring balance to the body again. Students will also learn about the relationship between emotional accumulation in the body and thought patterns.

A proper understanding of the physical body will help to prevent injury before, during, and after practice. This will comprise a brief overview, of the digestive system, respiratory system, circulatory system, nervous system, endocrine system organs, bodily systems, nadis, chakras, guidelines in studying asana anatomy, muscular system, skeletal system, muscle functions according to joint movements, and anatomy of breathing inversions and savasana.
Yoga philosophy is the foundation of our yoga practice and is the key to earning yogic strength. Through the path of yogic philosophy, you will establish a solid, well-rounded yoga practice.
Students will take turns practicing their teaching skills by performing in front of their peers and teachers. There will be demonstration, alignment, and instructions.
A yoga teacher should efficiently perform the practical applications of class planning and preparation. At Triguna Yoga, students will learn how to create a positive and peaceful class environment for an enjoyable and transformative experience. You will learn:
Students should arrive on the 2nd because the training starts on the 3rd in the morning and that night is included. The course is from the 3rd till the 25th but the 25th afternoon is the final ceremony so students can check out on the 26th, which is also included in the package.
On a free day Triguna Yoga organizes a mountain trip early morning to watch the sun rising, for those who like to join. During the colder months (December and January) they organize an alternative trip.
On other free days students usually group together to go visit and enjoy Rishikesh town. They will organize the tuk tuks that can bring you there at any time.
Prakash is born and brought up in a spiritual family in Uttar Pradesh, India. He has been introduced to a spiritual path and yoga at a very young age. He started practicing meditation, asanas, pranayama, and prayers in his childhood. On the path, he learned yoga from different institutes and traditions, like Astanga yoga from SVYASA Bangalore and extended courses from Satyananda’s (Bihar School Of Yoga), Munger. He has acquired academic qualifications earlier: a master of yoga and a master in English literature. Prakash is now guiding meditation, yoga, Tantra, mindfulness, and Kundalini.
Samadhi is uniquely inspiring and experienced pranayama, meditation, Yoga Nidra teacher, and therapist. She is a Dr. of Naturopathy from School of Naturopathy Gorakhpur, which includes whole naturopathy treatments with diet and therapeutic yoga. She has done extensive courses from Satyanand yoga (BSY Munger) and SVYASA Bangalore, where she got the perfect practical and theoretical knowledge of asana, pranayama, mudra, and bandha. She also learned yoga Nidra with its therapeutic qualities. Nowadays, Samadhi is giving sessions of pranayama, yoga Nidra, meditation, diet, and counseling.
Vishal has been teaching yoga for many years. He is a teacher in Hatha, Iyengar, Flow, Ashtanga, and Shivananda yoga, meditation, and pranayama and is holding a Master's degree in the art of yogic science from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University.

Taking a taxi from Delhi to Rishikesh is worth considering, as it is connected to other cities via the National Highway 58, which is in a good condition for most of the year. Triguna Yoga can organize a taxi for you, They always work with the same taxi company and drivers. The drive from Delhi to Rishikesh would take approximately 5 to 6 hours. The approximate fare from New Delhi is around 68 EUR (between 5,000 and 6,000 INR) depending on the season and time of the day. Being a popular tourist destination, Rishikesh has a good network of buses connecting it with important places such as Haridwar, Dehradun, and New Delhi. Buses depart in the morning and late evening from the Kashmere Gate ISBT, New Delhi for Rishikesh every day. You can choose from a regular, deluxe, or luxurious coach.
The nearest railhead to Rishikesh is in Haridwar which is approximately 25 kilometers away. Haridwar, in turn, is linked to major Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Varanasi. Some of the popular trains are Shatabadi Express, Jan Shatabdi, AC Special Express, and Mussoorie Express. For those making the journey to Rishikesh, it is advisable to take the train till Haridwar and then either take a bus or hire a taxi to Rishikesh. While the bus would take about 45 minutes, the taxi will take you to Rishikesh in about half an hour.
