Bounty Resort features Deluxe sea view rooms with large balconies. Fan bungalows have great sea views. Fan rooms and Standard ac rooms are more modern with partial sea view balconies. Shared rooms have two double beds. All rooms have free wi-fi and private bathrooms. You can also just pay tuition and book your own accommodation. Course structure

Yoga Practice

Each morning and evening ULU Yoga will guide you through a mindful meditation and pranayama journey, followed by physical yoga practice. The styles include traditional hatha yoga, modern vinyasa flow and restorative yin yoga. Special attention is given to correct alignment, adjustments and modifications for beginner and advanced levels.


Analyze the form and function of key poses from each category of asana. Learn about their common foundation and how to build upon them in order to achieve advanced forms. Get rooted in detailed alignment of core asanas and explore some advanced poses. Learn also how to modify asanas and adjust students to serve their specific needs.

Aerial, Acro, SUP Yoga

You will receive 3 or 4 classes each of aerial, acro and SUP yoga.. You may use the aerial swings and SUP boards in your free time to practice more, plus the beach is perfect for acro yoga. All three styles are fun, but also challenging and require balance and control to master. These classes are one of the top features of the course and provide great skills to get jobs.


Special workshops and lectures include yoga for injuries, prenatal and postnatal yoga, hands-on adjustments, working with various props, sequencing, lesson planning, class design. Try also beach yoga, sound healing, kirtan, chakra awakening, kundalini, guided meditation and pranayama breathwork, yin and restorative yoga.

Teaching Practice

Practice teaching everyday to gain experience and develop confidence. Learn teaching skills, cueing, sequencing, modifications for different ages and levels, plus other tools to succeed professionally. You will also design and teach a 75 min class each week followed by detailed feedback and analysis to help you grow and develop into a confident instructor.


Gain a deeper understanding of the structures and principles underlying each movement and of yoga itself. See how specific muscles respond to the movements of the joints with biomechanics; how alterations of a pose can enhance or reduce effectiveness; how the spine, breathing, and body position are all fundamentally linked; and the various bodily systems.


Cultivate an authentic yogic lifestyle and discover your true self and nature of reality through ancient texts and practical modern day wisdom. Study the meaning, history and evolution of yoga, nature of self/soul, identification system, Bhagavad Gita, Patanjali’s 8 limbs, nadis, chakras, states of consciousness, ayurveda, karma, gunas, ego, tantra yoga.

Online Studies

This course includes 150 hours of live classes and video modules covering all topics. There are daily live classes on zoom where you can interact with other students and teachers and ask questions. These classes are recorded so you can watch later. The times vary to accommodate different time zones. Plus there are pre-recorded video modules.


ULU Yoga

Teaching Materials

You will receive printed manuals and are encouraged to read Teaching Yoga by Mark Stephens, Hatha Illustrated by Martin Kirk, Light on Yoga by B.K.S. Iyengar, Yoga Anatomy by Leslie Kaminoff, Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Bhagavad Gita, the Vedas, and Upanishads.

Level and Style

This course is open to all levels. Students are encouraged to take breaks and skip. ULU Yoga focuses more on correct alignment, safe practice, teaching skills, and exploring the limits of what beginners can achieve with creative workshops.

Janaina Mendes

Janaina has completed over 1000 hours of Yoga Teacher Training including multiple 200, 300, and 800-hour YTT’s. Other qualifications include Acro Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Thai Massage, Water Therapy, and Reiki. She has been traveling around the world and sharing her knowledge of Yoga and body movement practices, either by teaching at studios, hostels, eco villages, and healing centers or by volunteering for social projects to help bring the Yoga teachings to those in need.

Janaina’s teachings focus on correct and safe alignment while empowering students to look inwards and expand their perception. With her warm and giving nature, her intention is to create a space where students can develop a deep connection and understanding of themselves through a journey of love and compassion. As she considers every human being unique in their form of expression, her work is dedicated to encouraging people to find their authenticity through their chosen practices.

Janaina’s calm, centered energy and teaching style facilitates a powerful depth to her classes. She is passionate about combining different bodily expressions and practices with the awareness and wisdom of Yoga, as she perceives the body as a vehicle for deep revelations and revolutions. She believes there is some form of Yoga for every person, and it is her goal to try and help students find it. Janaina’s passion for Yoga and body expression shines through in everything she does.

Cody Gavin Pizer

Cody has taken the role of lead instructor on numerous Yoga Teacher Training for over several years. He specializes in Human Anatomy Related to Movement, Yoga, Buddhist, and Classic Philosophy, Yoga Asana Analytics and Movement Clinics, Guided meditation and self-meditation training, as well as Vinyasa, Aerial, Primal, Restorative and SUP Yoga. He is a long-time meditator, movement artist, vegan and intermittent faster plus has written books on mindfulness, meditation, and Flow.

Cody has led multiple mindfulness retreats, mixed movement arts, and flow workshops in Bali, India, Malaysia, Thailand, and Cambodia plus taught at the famous Yoga Barn in Bali and Blue Indigo in Cambodia. Cody has an uninhibited spirit, which directs his life and inspires others to grow beyond themselves. He has a passion for movement and mindfulness which connects disciplines and translates into his holistic approach to classes. Cody feels that it is his life purpose to share his knowledge and inspire others through yoga, movement, and philosophy. Guiding his students to discover more about the miracle and magic that is life.

Manjeet Mathur (online)

His classes can range from discussions on our Shadows (related to parents, money, relationships, life experiences) to singing Mantra circles to Dance Therapy practices to blissed-out Asana or Meditation sessions! Manjeet has led Chakra retreats, Dance Yoga training, and Yoga Sharing circles & workshops in Bali & India. He has a Calming and Grounded presence which inspires others around him to come back to Simplicity and ease of living.

His highest purpose is to keep creating Space and Peace in his daily life and invite others to also keep choosing their Higher Self, Intuition, and Connectedness with all that exists. Manjeet’s passion for Yoga has led him to become the face of a Modern Mystic Yogi - grounded in self-practice and also embracing life and the joys it offers. He loves to motivate others through Self reflection, structured and improvised yoga poses, and embodying the qualities of eastern heart and western mind balance.

Kehkashan Nadeem (online)

After training with ULU Yoga KK became famous for bringing aerial yoga to Pakistan and is featured on the radio, TV, and magazines. Since then she has led a few yoga teacher training with ULU Yoga in Thailand and Bali. Since 2001 she has practiced every single day despite a busy family life with two kids. Each year KK attends more training to improve her skills in various styles. She thanks yoga for giving her such an amazing meaningful life and thanks to her instructors and students for allowing her to share what she loves.

Kehkashan's passion for improving oneself through yoga is infectious. She is a master at taking you through the paces, drawing connections between poses, giving you the confidence to try tricky things & get into advanced poses eventually. She is tough when one needs to be challenged, and compassionate as she tailors poses to suit one’s capabilities, taking time to discuss students’ health and introduce them to pranayama and meditation, determined to take one deeper into the sublime joyride that is yoga.

Included excursions

One morning, you will visit the resort's private beach and do Aerial yoga flying above the ocean to take amazing pictures. Plus, just a few minutes' walks you will see the Secret Beach and Haad Yao Beach, with gorgeous turquoise waters perfect for snorkeling with exotic fish and SUP boarding.

Arrival by airplane

From Bangkok, take a flight to Koh Samui Airport (1-hour, $100-150), then take a ferry to Koh Phangan (30-minute, 400 THB), then take a taxi to Bounty Resort (20-minute, 200 THB).

A cheaper option is from Bangkok, take a flight to Surat Thani Airport (1-hour, $40 - 60), then take a ferry to Koh Phangan (4.5-hour, 400 THB), then take a taxi to Bounty Resort (20-minute, 200 THB).

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
