Bounty Resort is a quiet family resort with a private beach, swimming pool, free Wi-Fi, English speaking staff, and great food. There are clean modern concrete rooms with hot water and air conditioning, deluxe rooms with television and refrigerator, and cute wooden fan bungalows with hammocks. Every room has Wi-Fi and a balcony with partial sea view. For cheaper price, there is Easy Life Bungalows and JB Hut 10-minute walk away. If you prefer more luxury stay, there is High Life Bungalows and Haad Son Resort just 3-minute walk.

Aerial yoga

ULU is famous for its unique original style of aerial yoga and leads 50 hr courses every month. Learn set routines, power flows, acrobatics and restorative healing techniques. Create a fun blacklight show with body paint, do aerial on the beach and fly over the ocean. Practice with silk hammocks plus ULU’s original cushioned swing, which offers greater comfort and support.

Acro / SUP / Beach yoga

The location has a private beach with perfect calm water to safely practice SUP Yoga (stand-up paddleboard). For acro yoga, the studio has cushings and aerial straps to support beginners. On the beach are nice shade and flat sand for a wonderful nature experience in paradise.

Analytics

Learn the correct form, practice and benefits of about 50 traditional yoga asanas, sun salutations and vinyasa flow sequences from experienced masters. Lead trainer Alon Schmilevich is an internationally celebrated expert of Ashtanga and Iyengar yoga with expert knowledge of alignment, adjustments, and props.

Anatomy

Learn detailed human anatomy, biomechanics of movement and health benefits of various asanas, and special techniques to treat various illnesses and injuries. Taught by Viktoria Hartung, a certified physical therapist, and Eleftheria Varsami, emergency surgical nurse.

Teaching methodology

Learn the qualities and techniques of becoming a caring leader to guide others to better health and happiness. Study how to plan classes and instruct students properly according to various levels, specific needs and goals.

Philosophy

Carry yoga beyond the mat. Enrich your lifestyle by integrating yogic philosophy and a deeper understanding of the concepts of body, mind & soul. Discover the 8 paths of Yoga according to Patanjali's Yoga Sutras from daily moral principles, accompanied by a unique Yogi Diary, to different cleansing techniques (Kriyas). Practice a variety of Pranayama and Meditation and their metaphysics, how the 5 Koshas become a transparent explanation for the effects of yoga, apply the wisdom of the Chakra & Nadi System in a modern and grounded form. Get enchanted by stories about the Hindu gods and why the tantrics pray to female goddesses.

Teaching practice

ULU Yoga pays great emphasis on developing confidently experienced instructors. Students practice teaching each day, plus a teach complete 75 minutes class once a week, followed by detailed analysis.

Workshops

This course has numerous special workshop for prenatal, injuries, pranayama, meditation, chakra awakening, advanced poses, props usage, class design, sequencing, multi-level teaching, teacher qualities, business, and marketing.

Certificate

Students receive a Yoga Alliance 200hr Multi-Style Yoga Teacher Training Certificate from ULU Yoga, who is a Registered Yoga School and Continuing Education Provider with Yoga Alliance (197661). After the course, students are listed online with Yoga Alliance as 200 hour Register Yoga Teacher or RYT-200. This is the world’s most popular certification. ULU Yoga graduates teach all over the world, but each employer has their own rules about who can teach.

Level

Total beginners with no experience can join ULU Yoga. It’s a dynamic course with many hours, but the schedule balances well various subjects and activities so that students get enough personal time and rest.

Koh Phangan is magical island paradise with the world's most incredible beaches. There are breathtaking mountain views of endless green jungle full of wildlife and heavenly turquoise waters, and golden rainbow sunsets. The weather is always warm. There is no pollution or traffic. There are many other yoga centers near by for extra classes, special workshops, expert lectures and tantric dance. Plus, there are many famous events each week, like Full Moon Party, but those are 30-40 minutes away. ULU at Bounty Resort is located north west of Koh Phangan Island in Haad Yao, which is right after Sri Thanu, which in 5 years will be like Ubud in Bali. There are about 10 yoga centers within a 10 minute radius! There are new vegetarian and exotic restaurants plus boutique shops popping up each month.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

From Bangkok, you may fly to Koh Samui (faster, easier, more expensive) or Surat Thani. You should fly in by 4-5 p.m. to catch the ferry to Koh Phangan. At the airport, you can buy a ferry ticket to the Thong Sala pier in Koh Phangan for about 5 USD and no reservation is required. Then, you may take a taxi to Bounty Resort for about 5 USD or you can also rent a motorbike for the same price per day.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 25% of the total price.
  • The deposit is fully refundable if the booking is cancelled up to 21 days before the arrival date.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 5 days before arrival.
