Practice teaching everyday, learn set sequences and design original classes to become a confident instructor. Learn aerial acro and group choreography to create an amazing blacklight performance. This course take place at Baan Jai Dee Resort, which has a 9.3 rating and is one of the most perfect locations in Thailand. The resort features a private beach, sea view yoga shala, sea view accommodation, a great cafe with healthy food, a digital nomad hub and epic salt water pool overlooking gorgeous turquoise waters. The course strictly adheres to Yoga Alliance standards for techniques, analytics, philosophy, anatomy, methodology, practicum, contact hours, self-study time and excursions to ensure the core content is thoroughly covered and additional activities are meaningful as well as fun.
Each morning you will practice aerial hatha yoga, which focuses on holding traditional yoga poses adapted for aerial. In the evening you will practice aerial vinyasa, which connects poses with breath and movement to create a dynamic flow. Also included is a short meditation and pranayama to focus the mind, warm up the body and awaken the spirit. (daily)
Receive detailed analytic instruction of traditional aerial yoga asanas and techniques along with their classical hatha yoga counterparts. Learn correct alignment, cueing, sequencing, adjustments, mistakes and modifications for various levels. Analytics are detailed with a course manual, which includes scripted sequences and over 50 pictures. (daily)
Use swings to support flyers and bases with balance and alignment to achieve creative poses mixing partner and acro yoga with therapeutics and massage. Students learn to trust and communicate with each other and themselves in fun and challenging new ways. (1x)
Use anti-gravity style hammocks to practice wrapping the fabric around the body plus rolling and dropping in and out of more complicated poses. Students are welcome to complete the whole course using silk hammocks if they prefer, you can do all the same poses, but ULU Yoga Swings have cushion padding and are far more comfortable. (1x)
Learn to synchronize simple aerial sequences in pairs then coordinate as a group to choreograph an artistic performance mixing aerial with regular yoga, acro yoga and dance. Create a theme with music and record an amazing video. (1x)
Receive a brief overview of the body as a holistic system, biomechanics of movement and the health benefits of various poses with special regard to spinal construction, compression and decompression, stretching safely to avoid hyperextension, working with injuries and techniques to reduce pain.
Receive a brief overview of yoga history and philosophy and learn to create an authentic yogic lifestyle by integrating the ethical guidelines of the yamas and niyamas from Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. .
A key feature of this course is immersive teaching practice and critical evaluation to become a skilled and confident instructor. You will practice teaching everyday and learn hands on adjustments plus design teach a complete class. These techniques have proven to be exceptionally effective and many students get great jobs right away after the course.
Receive a brief overview of teaching styles, communication skills, principles of demonstration, observation, time management, student learning process, group dynamics, fulfilling individual needs, working in various group settings and establishment of priorities and boundaries.
Participants must complete 25 hours of pre-course work. ULU Yoga has online videos to practice some basic poses and pranayama to prepare the body and mind for intensive training. During the course there is daily self-study, group work and assignments such as designing original classes.
This course is open to all levels and students are recommended to take rest and modify as needed. Each week there is group sharing to give feedback and ensure your personal and academic needs are met and your time is truly enjoyable and nurturing on all levels to create a holistic balance. You should practice yoga at least twice a week for 2 months and consult a doctor before taking this course. You don’t need a high level of flexibility or skill at advanced poses.

Viktoria (Germany, Russia) has over 20 years of yoga experience. She did her first 200-hr TT in Hatha Yoga, followed by a 500-hr TT in Therapeutic Yoga. She also has certifications in acro yoga, aerial yoga, deep tissue massage, nadi healing touch and traditional tantra yoga. Viktoria has a most vibrant energy, but is also a serious scholar and university instructor with MA in Chemical Engineering. Viktoria leads 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teacher trainings in Asia, Europe and India plus has extensive knowledge of yoga philosophy, anatomy and ayurveda. Viktoria's deep craving for study and self development lead her to combine western medical science with spirituality and yoga to create a compressive holistic health approach and clear understandable teaching. Her greatest skill is inspiring others to wake up and live plus uniting groups and filling the room with love and laughter.
Cody (South Africa) started yoga in 2010. He completed his 200-hr Multi-Style Yoga TT with Green Yoga in India. He also has certifications in aerial and SUP yoga. Cody has several years experience as lead instructor on numerous yoga trainings specializing in vinyasa, aerial and sup yoga plus presents engaging lectures on anatomy and philosophy. He is also a credible authority on diet and nutrition as a long time raw vegan intermittent faster. Cody has led mindfulness retreats, mixed movement arts and parkour workshops in Bali, India, Malaysia and Cambodia plus taught at the famous Yoga Barn on Bali and Blue Indigo in Cambodia. He has an uninhibited spirit, which directs his life and inspires others to grow beyond themselves. Cody’s passion for movement as a whole interconnected discipline translates into all of his classes. He loves to motivate others through yoga, movement and philosophy to discover more about the miracle and magic that is the human body, mind and the world itself.
Arihant (Spain) found yoga in 2007 and spent many years traveling the world, volunteering in ecovillages and healing centers, visiting ashrams in India, studying under numerous teachers and living the yogic path. In Rishikesh, he obtained his 200hr certification under the guidance of Yogacharya Dinesh Shastri, disciple of Swami Yogananda Maharaj Ji. His exploration into the depths of Vedic culture led him to study Ayurveda at Ashramam Ayurveda Hospital and Training Institute of Kerala and Sanskrit and Mantra at the American Institute of Vedic Studies. Other qualifications include Sound Healing, Acroyoga, Thai massage and Indian Classical music. Arihant is a sincere caring soul passionate about enriching the lives of others with the sacred wisdom yoga in all aspects of life. He also loves puppies and has a great sense of humor. Miranda (USA) is a 200hr RYT (273142) in multi style and also holds a 50 hour aerial Yoga certification from ULU Yoga. Miranda enjoys teaching Hatha, Power, and Vinyasa classes and will hop into an inversion any chance she gets! Miranda has taught both traditional yoga classes and has assisted in teacher trainings in Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, and the United States. Some of her favorites are Acro Yoga, Bhakti, Ashtanga, Yoga Nidra and Yin. As a teacher, Miranda teaches from a place of gratitude and diversity. Koh Phangan has over 30 world class beaches, which are all free and open to the public. Every 5min there is another gem close by waiting for you to discover. Just keep walking, rent a motorbike or take a taxi.
Snorkeling is a nice way to get a glimpse of the beautiful underwater world around the island. There are many great snorkel spots on the island, especially on the Northwest coast. One of the best spots is located around the little island of Koh Ma (Horse Island), off Mae Haad beach at the Northwestern tip of Koh Phangan.
Boat trips around the island or to other islands can be arranged at reception. The most popular is Angthong National Marine Park, a fascinating archipelago of 42 tropical islands, limestone islands and cliffs which rise from the sea as dramatic and bizarre rock formations. hidden emerald lagoons, white sandy beaches, coral gardens.
Phaeng Waterfall National Park is located in the village of Madua Wan. The Park has a nice waterfall close to the entrance and some trekking routes to mountaintop viewpoints, including a long winding foot trail leading up to Koh Phangan’s highest mountain peak Khao Ra of 630 meters.
A don yang is a huge tropical tree and this gigantic specimen measures 14 meters in diameter, stands to branch off leaves and limbs for hundreds of years.
The Chinese temple is the result of the dream a woman had in 1990 in which the (Chinese) Buddha spoke to her and asked her to build a firelight for the people.
Wat Khao Noi is the oldest temple on Koh Phangan with ancient buildings and Chedis. The Buddha statue inside has been there for more than 300 years now.
Haad Yao Beach has kayak rental is a perfect location to explore the surrounding beaches.
Mountain bikes are available for rent near by. Experience mountain biking through the jungle paths and mountainous roads with incredible views at every turn.
Motorbikes are available for rent to explore everything the island has to offer at your own pace.
Koh Phangan has three Muay Thai stadiums in Thong Sala, one in Haad Rin and one in Thong Nai Pan, where regularly events are being held. You may go there to experience a night of Thailand’s most popular sport.
